Starbucks

I am a Starbucks Gold member and this location is WAY below par. The service staff could be described as lack-luster at best and the store was filthy and bathroom disgusting - makes you wonder about the cleanliness of the utensils, etc. picture attached

I recently started coming to Marble Slab and I'm hooked! This isn't your typical ice cream shop. The flavors they can mix for you and their house-made ice cream is delicious! I highly recommended this Marble Slab. The employees are always cheerful and eager to help. Keep up the good work!

Mike Cotten's Bbq

Reviewed By danidb518 - South Texas

Not busy when we arrived, only a couple tables of diners in middle of room yet hostess seated us in the very corner table away from others!
My husband had the two meat plate - brisket & sausage while I had the brisket nachos- all meat was fresh and moist. I liked the chips they used for the nachos but I would have the cheese sauce on the side next time - more cheese than meat. Their warm sauce with tomatoes was a good accompaniment. Tried the sauce in the squeeze bottle on the table but had too much of a smokey taste to it. The side bowl of beans were served hot & had nice pieces of onion in them. Good size portion of all items!

Of all the DQs I've visited I must admit this one in Portland is near or at the top of the pack. They would have 5 stars but the service is rather slow. Otherwise, they have good food, great ice cream, and a clean and friendly atmosphere. Love the decorations and the model train!

I've been coming here regularly, almost daily, for some time now. Their service and quality is consistently great! Don't be alarmed by the long lines during the morning rush hour, they move people through pretty quickly and I've never gotten the wrong order.

Popular restaurant - great food.

Stopped in for dinner with the wifey. In a strip mall next to K Mart but we were not there for the ambiance. The spring rolls were fresh and tasty. Wifey had the Chinese chicken something or other, large portion and delicious, she does not like Pho yet.

I ordered the noodle soup with brisket. The key to good Pho to me is the broth. The broth of my dish was tasty on the darker side. It was not the best I have had but far from the worst. Somewhere is the middle, vegetables were generous and the meat tender.

Service was quick and efficient. We will return

La Iguana Restaurant

Visiting Portland for the weekend, and chose La Iguana for a Mexican early dinner. We were not disappointed.

The restaurant has interesting decor and the service was excellent (even though they appear to be hiring for all shifts).

We enjoyed the House Margaritas $4.50. My husband liked the carnitas, with beans and rice. I had the taquitos - which were great. We were full, and took home nearly half our food. Great leftovers!

IHOP

Typical chain restaurant, food is not bad. Ordered the fajita omlett it was cooked right and served hot. When first seated it took several minutes for a waitress to come and ask for drinks order. I found out that the section I was in was for a waitress named Sara, she never waited on me, how ever Tammy picked up the slack on her own and saved the day. Tammy was an excellent waitress as nd turned it into an enjoyable experience! Ask for her if she is working.
