What a great place! Wish this place was closer to home! A friend who lives closer to the area goes here all the time and loves it, so I knew it would be good. My husband got a flight, and every one of his choices was good. Usually, he always gets something on a flight that just is not to his taste. His favorite was the Cross-Eyed Jack Imperial Smoked Pumpkin. He even got a growler to go. Normally he does not find a Pumpkin style beer that he really likes. Since we weren’t hungry enough for a full meal we decided on the pretzel and beer cheese appetizer. The cheese was incredibly delicious and the portions of pretzels and cheese were enough to share and we even had some to take home. There were also many things on the menu we would have loved to have tried. Our server was attentive and prompt. We definitely will be coming back to this place in the near future even though it’s about 40 minutes from home.

Erbelli's is our go to place for pizza for 15 years. For lunch buffet, out family get together s. We get it to go for the pontoon rides on the lake.

My husband and I stopped for lunch at Grand Traverse Pie Company in Portage, MI. Their website menu boasted having gluten-free options, so I was excited at the prospect of finding fresh gluten-free baked goods. However, my anticipation quickly melted to disappointment.
Their pie crusts are baked with bean products - equally as dangerous to my irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) as gluten - rendering them inedible. I'm surprised that, if a bakery is going to take the effort to bake for gluten-free needs, they don't meet ALL the dietary needs of people avoiding gluten.
I asked the cashier about their gluten-free menu options and I was directed to the salads. I ordered the spinach & goat cheese salad, which had the "GF" initials prominently displayed next to the name on the menu board, and this description: "Fresh spinach, Michigan blueberries, Michigan apples, red onion, apple cinnamon roasted pecans and goat cheese with honey mustard vinaigrette." I figured I could probably withstand the small amount of apples and honey in the dressing without triggering my IBS.
I was surprised when the salad arrived with a piece of crusty bread. At first, I thought it might be GF - but then I walked it up to the cooks, who confirmed it was regular gluten-laden bread. They exchanged it for a piece of dry, mealy GF bread that they pulled out of a retail bag - so they apparently DO NOT bake their GF bread on site. Oh well.
I asked them why they put gluten-containing bread on a menu item marked GF. They replied that we have to SPECIFICALLY ASK THE CASHIER to enter the meal as GF! I thought it was particularly dangerous for them to list GF on menu items that actually contain gluten. If I hadn't questioned the mysterious bread when it arrived, and just assumed it was GF (because of the menu posting), I could have gotten really sick!
My husband's side salad was reported as delicious. Although small and dry, he reported that the pasty was tasty with gravy poured all over it.

Diverse menu, but not overwhelming. Wonderful ingredients. Top notch service. There are cheaper places that serve good food, but not the same caliber as hear. Tried "The Portage Omelet" and loved the Parmesan cream sauce. I would suggest asking for the sauce on top of the potatoes too, even though the potatoes were good as served.

Friendly service at the Westnedge Carrabba's in Portage. We sat outside and enjoyed our dinner. The chicken Marsala was great. It's a chain, so you aren't getting a true gourmet dinner, but the calories are clearly marked on the menu and if you what to make a healthy choice, that makes it easier.

Stopped in here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The restaurant had plenty of early morning customers, but that didn’t slow down either the wait staff or the kitchen. Food was served quickly and portions were generous. Partner had eggs and hash that were “pretty good.” I had an order of excellent, fluffy pancakes. Fabulous waitress.

Ray ray's was amazing. We live in the Chicago area, so we've had our fair share of great food. Ray ray's has their beef, sausage and everything else figured out.
Great flavors...super friendly... prices are right on! Nothing fancy when you pull up, but be prepared for a great lunch/dinner!

Had dinner here on a Tuesday evening around 8 pm. We were seated quickly. The waiter was friendly and helpful. The food was good but not at a caliber for the price. I had lasagna for $20 and a glass of their cheapest red, blend for $7. My friend got a pizza for 17. That’s a personal pizza for $17. These were at the less expensive end of the menu. Again good food just over priced in my opinion.
So food gets 4 stars value gets 2 stars. Average they a 3 star rating.

I ate here for the first time a few weeks ago. Met a friend for lunch. What a wonderful place with great atmosphere. Ask for a table by a window. The view outside is magnificent. You feel like you are in the middle of a savannah. The food was delicious. We ordered the special which was a panini and we had a choice of fries or fresh green beans as a side. Not many restaurants serve fresh veggies these days. I liked that veggies were a choice. We were able to sit for over 2 hours talking. Never felt rushed. It was not super busy for lunch. Dinner may be busier and perhaps we might have felt our table was needed for other guests. Great wait staff and very accommodating. Will definitely be back.

The Craftsman is more upscale than just a sports bar but has a really nice laid back atmosphere. The food is unique and delicious. The salmon is my favorite. They have wonderful martini's and a good selection of all spirits. They have a homemade dip and pretzels that is very addicting. There is also a very nice outside seating area. They also do a wonderful job with large groups or banquets if you book ahead.
