I went with a group of people for breakfast. It's a family run restaurant which has been in business for six years in Platte City, MO and around 11 years in Parkville, MO We were seated right away. Our waitress was very friendly and immediately took our orders and made sure we all had our drinks. Her attention paid to us was tremendous.
I ordered the Junior Wrangler which consisted of biscuit and gravy, two sausage patties or bacon and hash browns. Everything was cooked just right. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The best thing was their enormous cinnamon rolls which several of us took home with us. I would definitely recommend this cafe to everyone.

We visited this Dairy Queen while passing through this Summer, and wow, what a difference a few months can make!
Almost all of the napkin dispensers were empty, the dining area was dirty, tables hadn't been cleaned and they stopped offering active military discounts.
Perhaps new ownership, but wow, what a noticeable decline over the past few months.
I had some Boy Scouts with me and they asked me to stop here. I did knowing they have butterscotch dip, but the boys said they wouldn't want to stop there again.
Now, it wasn't bad...it just used to be MUCH better, but now it is just AVERAGE and what you might expect from a fast food restaurant who has management and ownership that "doesn't care much" as one of our scouts suggested.
If AVERAGE suits you, then stop in; otherwise, drive on by...

I drive by this place all the time and thought it was the same as all the other "Chinese" places. It's not. It's more Japanese than anything and offered a more modern experience than some hole in the wall take out place. That being said, I ordered Take Out (for pick up) via the online (yummyfoodtogo) website. The Udon noodles with chicken were quite good. I love Udon noodles and these didn't disappoint. The sauce was, perhaps, a bit salty but I'm ok with it. I will be back to visit this place and next time I will try dining in. The restaurant was surprisingly empty, though to me it felt clean, modern, and well lit. I think it would make a great lunch spot or a place for a quick dinner. I wish they had delivery though...

Located in Weston, Missouri, Tin Kitchen restaurant occupies the old Rumpel Hardware building on Main Street in the downtown historic district. Built in 1842, the building has been lovingly restored to preserve all of it’s warmth and charm. The dining rooms showcase the original pressed-tin ceilings and walls. Tin Kitchen’s menu features pecan-wood-smoked barbecue meats straight from the pit. Slow-smoked for up to 16 hours, Pulled pork, brisket, chicken, and contest-style BBQ ribs are among the favorites. Grilled meats and fish, Southern-style side dishes, fresh, crisp salads, and mouth-watering desserts round out the menu.
We had a variety of excellent entrees, salads, and dessert on a Saturday afternoon. While the restaurant was very busy, we were seated and served without delay. All the food was very good and the atmosphere unique and up to date.

Expectations of a Mexican joint in Platte City were low but Maria's is pretty good. I went twice the week I was there. Had the Fajitas once and the chuletas de puerco once. Both were good and the portions were large. I've had better Mexican but this is definitely a great option if you're in the area.

Group of almost 40 people went to the Weston Candlelight Homes Tour and stopped at O'Malley's for lunch. We made reservations and were offered chicken or beef. We chose the beef which turned out to be a thick stew with mashed potatoes and a roll. It was followed up by pound cake. Service was good for this large of group and we were in a private dining area. Didn't leave hungry.

First off the staff do a super job here. You get your food quickly and it is good. The best drive thru in Platte city. It is a joy to get good food and not have to wait forever to get it.

A small boutique restaurant set in an 1845 Antebellum home. This quaint place specializes in fresh, made from scratch cooking with seasonal products. Come gran lunch or brunch with friends or loved ones, or enjoy a romantic night for 2 with our candlelit dinner service. Come to catch up with friends and lounge for a while or swing by and grab some wine and snacks to enjoy outdoors. Whatever your mood as you wander around Weston we'd love to see you! We take reservation but not required. No dress code required since some are out in Weston all day enjoying our shops & wineries, but feel comfortable to dress up and come out for a date night!

This restaurant was close to our motel and was a great evening meal. The salsa was perfect and our server kept it full!! The chicken quesadilla and carne Asada were great!

The pool hall is one of those quaint little places in downtown Platte City. The staff is very friendly. On Friday evening's they have specials on tacos, which are very good. Every other day they have the best cheeseburgers you will find around.
