Had lunch on a busy Sunday. At least three employees apologized for the wait, which was maybe 15 minutes. Food came out reasonably quick and was better than average for a small town restaurant. Had the fish sandwich and the fish appeared to be fresh, rather than a frozen slab, and was seasoned nicely. Waitress was friendly and efficient. Pies looked great but did not try. Prices were very reasonable.

Great stop in North Vernon for breakfast or lunch. Recently enjoyed the breakfast special - anything you want in your omelet-ran it thru the garden plus sausage-delicious!! Included hash browns and toast! Carmel latte was fabulous and the atmosphere friendly and clean. This is well worth your time to stop. They also have a good lunch menu. Owner is usually always on site and friendly and helpful. A walking wealth of knowledge about Jennings county.
Take the time and have a "perfect" day!!!

my last visit was a few months ago. it was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a dairy queen. i literally waited almost an hour for two small blizzards and i was the second person in line when i walked in. They were rude and took forever. they kept dropping orders and having to remake them. but they didn't even bother to clean up the mess! they just kept kicking it and stepping in it and spreading it all over the place. finally after i received my first blizzard 45 minutes later...the second one can within another 10 minutes and it was wrong! we took it anyway and left! i will never go back! And just to be fair, this is not the first time my order took an extremely long time. when going through the drive you will always wait at least 20 minutes and that if you’re the only person in line. the food has never been terrible it's just not worth that kind of wait.

Great wood fired pizza and is worth the drive from wherever you are driving from. They also have great hometown service and ice cold beer to make the end of a long day bearable.

My husband and I visit this restaurant on a regular basis, we have never been disappointed. The food is always good, service is always quick and friendly. The atmosphere is very welcoming and clean. If out on a date night, i suggest asking for a booth in the bar area, it is very relaxing, lower lighting definitely a good way to unwind at the end of a busy day.

Good overall. Emphasis is on meat and potatoes. Vegetables were a let down. The mixed vegetables appeared to be the frozen variety. Probably one of the two best places in town, unfortunately that's not saying a whole lot. They do have good friendly service, so that means a lot to me in a small town, so I'd go back for sure.

Have only tried breakfast at Tim's it's very good. The fried potatoes are definitely worth getting. I have had omelets and others have had breakfast sandwiches. The cooks the eggs just right they've been perfect every time

Big Head pizza always appeals to our guests ranging from Wisconsin to Arizona. The pizza is full of ingredients and dripping with flavor. Delivery or carry-out is the way to go.

Miller's Tavern has a limited menu and allows smoking. Had the pork tenderloin sandwich and slaw. It was pretty good and the service was excellent. I will stop again and have their burger.

They've remodeled. Looks pretty nice.
I went through the drive thru so I haven't seen the inside.
I tried the new Mozzarella Chicken Salad. Loved it !!
Didn't get any chili this time, but their chili is better than homemade (it could only be better if they added spaghetti to it).
I'm hoping they'll bring back their Pulled Pork BBQ Fries this summer.
