I've eaten here many times and have never walked away disappointed or hungry. Excellent food, good prices, and amazing desserts (just be sure to ask which ones are made there, they are much better). My favorite dish is chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and sausage gravy. Delish!

This restaurant is closed. Nice place with local craft items for sale too, homemade desserts, ice cream, and good variety of coffee. COFFEE HOUSE IS NOW CLOSED.

Went to dinner with a family group of twelve. Very nice to have a private dinning room. Waitress was very busy but still gave good service. Tried the artichoke appetizer and the jalapeno rangoons, both very good. Steak was nice size, cooked correctly and priced reasonably, pork chop dinner all so very good.

We were hoping to visit this Mexican restaurant when in town - and saw a new place in its location. Sad... but discovered that it had moved to a new location in downtown New Hampton.
It looks great, service was wonderful, food delicious and priced right. Try the specialities! We'll be back.
If you're on Hwy 63, you'll have to take one of the New Hampton exits and get to Main Street. Easy to find there - not sure if I can post my photo with this review.

My two kids and I, along with their grandparents, had lunch here on a weekday around noon. The outside of the restaurant is SUPER nondescript...nothing at all stating that it is even a restaurant. No sign. So I'm like, 'yikes'. But it was a different story once we got inside. Nice diverse menu with all sorts of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast all day. Prices that were, frankly, too cheap and should have been higher for what you get. And what you get is very good, homemade food, more than ample. For example, both of my kids got the 'Mickey pancake' which ended up being full plate size and more than enough for them. They thought it was cute:)
Service was friendly and very adequate. We will return, and hopefully see a sign out front cause this place needs to be seen.

I like to go to Big Ed's for the prime rib special on Saturday nights. These evenings tend to be very social in a small town, and I usually run into someone I know. The bar offers a reasonable selection of beer, including some regional craft options. The prime rib is always well-seasoned and tender, and the serving size is more than generous. I usually end up taking some of the beef home with me. Service is informal, but always friendly. One can count on a satisfying meal in a social, hometown setting at Big Ed's.

New Hampton has been so happy to have a place like this for the last few years. It is great ice cream in a good location. Very reasonably priced. They can be a little slow if there is a line, but I like to take that opportunity to enjoy an nice evening and talking with the other people from town.

The staff here is great! They don't just hand you a pizza and out the door you go. They talk with you, and for the locals, get to know you a bit. It's clean in the store, and the pizza is always hot and fresh! They also are good about turning pizzas out quickly!

This is true Chinese. Very good service and friendly staff. They also do takeout. I love their egg drop soup and crab rangoons

Nothing out of this world, nothing bad. The service is good, but sometimes a little on the slow side. Always clean and ALWAYS friendly at this restaurant. If you need your sub fix, subway is the place to stop!
