Nanticoke is a city in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 10,465, making it the third largest city in Luzerne County. It occupies 3.5 square miles of land. The city can be divided into several sections: Honey Pot (northwestern Nanticoke), Downtown (northern and central Nanticoke), and Hanover Section (southeastern Nanticoke). It was once an active coal mining community. Today, the 167-acre main campus of Luzerne County Community College is located within the city.

This place is a hidden gem. Great food and the best steaks. They have a full bar and a few tables in the front and a dinning room in the back. They offer Benny Brewing Company beer on tap. Nice staff and good service. The portions are very large no matter what you order. The Prime Rib Sandwich is terrific and it's huge. The Delmonico Sandwich is also very good and it's literally a whole Delmonico on a steak roll. The Prime Rib and Cajun Cheesy Potatoes are fantastic. They have a good Caesar Salad too. The deserts can feed at least two, they're gigantic. It's run by a local family. The place is basic looking and casual but the food is top notch. If you're a fan of Ruth's give this place a try.

Well worth going a few miles out of your way, located on a nondescript street. Superb pastries, made fresh, and for prices that belong at least a decade ago. Truly an old world bakery, made largely from scratch.

My husband and I stopped at the Grateful Roast for lunch. Due to much construction in the area and Detours we had a late lunch. Now, this is no Curley Kreme (in nearby Plains, PA), but Maureen's is always solidly good ice cream. The service, though...wow. I understand that you have younger high schoolers working the place, but it really is no excuse for rudeness to paying customers. They seem like hard workers but not so kind. Either way, still love it.

I love eating at Morris's. At any of their locations. I have found my favorite meal is a Turkey club wrap with broccoli salad and its so good I can't get myself to order anything else. I enjoy eating there with family or friends. It's a comfortable atmosphere and its one of the only family owned places left around. It's always a good time at Morris's. I highly recommend a stop.

Outstanding shop, with a large selection of panini sandwiches and wraps; as well as chili hot dogs and some of the best soups you'll find anywhere! There's a large variety of specialty coffee, such as cappuccino, latte, espresso, etc. The smoothies and frappes and baked goods all make it a good reason to stop by and check it out.

The pizza is thin, sweet and delicious! There is absolutely no atmosphere, but everyone takes out.The owners/ staff are friendly and really try to make you happy.

Great old school type place. Had the ham bbq sandwich special with fries and drink. Great sandwhich. Not exactly typical southern hard smoked bbq. Its eastern pa. type (pa. german perhaps) bbq. Similar to bbq you get at a local firehall, no bbq sauce. Just a good sandwhich all the same. Friendly staff.fair price.will be back

What can I say? This establishment has become our favorite and almost a weekly visit is on our agenda.
Excellent executive chef! Cooks everything perfectly. We almost had everything on the menu, including their specials, and never a complaint.
The wait staff is great, as well as the bartender since we usually eat at the bar.
A must visit!
