Most Popular Restaurants in Molokai

Molokai embraces the true Hawaiian spirit but without the typical Hawaiian fanfare. The pace is slower here, the nightlife and megaresorts are practically nonexistent (no buildings taller than a coconut tree are allowed), you won't even find a traffic light on this small island (38 miles long and 10 miles wide). You will find tranquility and nature - waterfalls, beaches, coves, coral reefs and rainforests, all best explored by foot, horse or boat. Molokai is also known for its fabulous mountain biking.

We have visited Molokai twice and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of eating at Kualapu'u Cookhouse. It exemplifies the atmosphere of Molokai...laid back with good home style cooking. Robin provided great service. They do not serve alcohol, but encourage you to bring your own. We actually bought a bottle of wine next door at Kualapu'u Market and brought it in. They are very accommodating and provided wine glasses and an opener.

A great stop for some fresh donuts and very nice breakfast. I really enjoyed their Loco Moco served with Macaroni salad. Service was good and friendly. Prices are comparable to other nearby locations. A very enjoyable experience.

the store is alright but as we were sitting outside and it seemed as if work just got out but the boss( heard someone call her boss) by the name of pua had no courtesy for customers she argued and scolded the workers in front us and they all looked like they had a long day she should have done it behind closed doors or at least not by customers she did a good job making us feel uncomfortable even the look she gave us just made us feel unwanted she should learn to treat the workers better they are what makes or breaks a company i would avoid this place not worth being made uncomfortable

I enjoy a good burger and this place didn't disappoint. Inside is clean and comfortable (with almost an In-n-Out motif) and the burger was really fantastic; they are thin style patties cooked on a flattop (like In-n-Out) and dare I say just as good. I stopped in several times while we were on the island. The staff is super friendly and more than happy to help you. I would hands down recommend there coffee/espresso drinks over the coffee/espresso drinks at the Coffees of Hawaii. They are friendlier, the coffee is better and it there is actually room to wait for your drink. Get yourself some Aloha here!

Mana'e Goods & Grindz

While everyone seems to be talking about their cooked food/deli service, it 's important to remember that they sell groceries here too. This is especially important for those folks like us who are staying in and around the 15+ mile markers. Rather than drive to town for some basics we forgot to get when in town, we stopped in for butter, bacon, etc. Not cheap but then again it ain't cheap at Friendly's Market either.
Recommended.

Paddlers Restaurant and Bar

Molokai is a uniquely wonderful Hawaiian island and Paddlers Restaurant is a part of that beauty. A favorite local hangout and a favorite of those visiting the island. The food is absolutely great, there is a full bar including specialty drinks, a large selection of beer and various wines. Live entertainment is provided with no cover charge most nights. There service is outstanding and every effort is made to make sure our guests are happy and satisfied.

Ono Fish & Shrimp Food Truck

Reviewed By IPM - Needham

Believe it or not it is extremely difficult to find fish (or chicken) to take back to your place to cook/grill?? Go figure! But some incredible fish is available at this little food truck right in the middle of town. Fish of the day was seared MahiMahi - cooked perfectly! A drink comes with the meal. Everything runs around $13-15 and they do accept credit cards. Seating behind the food truck on picnic tables. A spritzer type set of tubes around the perimeter keeps the place cool.
