Middle Island is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in Suffolk County, New York, United States. The population was 10,483 at the 2010 census. It is situated between the hamlets of Coram and Ridge, to the west and east, respectively, and Rocky Point and Yaphank to the north and south. The name derives from the fact that it lies approximately halfway between the eastern and western ends of Long Island (Montauk Point and the East River) as well as halfway between the northern and southern boundaries (the Long Island Sound and the Atlantic Ocean).

When my three daughters have sleep overs, the easiest breakfast is bagels. Bagels 101 has great bagels. Great variety and fresh. They also make great egg sandwiches, BUT, they are slow to come out. I wait a lot when I order sandwiches. Friendly staff. Clean.

Tilda's is an excellent neighborhood bakery. Some of our family's favorites are the jelly donuts, cream donuts, small apple turnovers, black and white cookies, and raspberry crumb squares. Whenever we visit friends out of state, we stop at Tilda's for a taste of New York. Enjoy!

Looks like a run down bar but the dining room is kind of attractive, views of the lakes great, terrific salads as well as some well done hot dishes for both lunch and dinner. Small dining room and the bar is kind of noisy but the service is great and the prices are also.

We have gone to spyros many times including happy hour and fine cuisine! We went for a birthday celebration! Of course the drinks were excellent! Steaks were not cooked as ordered! The shrimp scampi was dry! There fine cuisine prices are expensive for just a main dishes! No sides are included at all! The waitress though was outstanding!! I wish I remembered her name! We were very surprised! We will try again but this time their happy hour and see if there are any changes.

Have eaten at Alfredo's many times. Their pizza, calzones, pizza pops and other items from their front counter are very good. Their dinner menu is varied with choices in pasta, seafood and meat items. They just put a new facade on the building and I believe they will have some outside seating now and additional parking spaces.

Great diner. Awesome food. Got an omelette and deep fried home fries. Soooo good. The waitress was really friendly. Small, home town feel. Would definitely go back.

I love love love their penne alla vodka. I always get it from here! No one makes it as good as they do. There pizza is also delicious! But I always go for the pasta!

Stopped by the family after checking Tesla event nearby. Glad I read TripAdvisor as the food was delicious !! Big portions but packs so much flavor. You can tell it's fresh. Great service as well. Will go back or sure! Located in shopping mall. Go find this place !

Food was excelent. Service good but as in Rome the shrimp was served unpeeled over a hot bed of pasta. There is no good way to approach peeling with saucy fingers but when peeled the dish was delicious. If not for the unpeeled shrimp this is a five star pizzeria/restaurant. I can see why it is rated highly in tripadvisor.
