Wonderful donuts. Make sure you go first thing in the morning for a better selection. Come here once a year for a week for a woodcarving class and we pass by it every day. Sweet tooth won this morning and I had two frosted donuts to go with my coffee. They are building a Dunkin in town hope it doesn't hurt this local bakery!

Had the large ribeye steak and it was very good. Ordered medium rare closer to medium. It was very rare but they cooked it a bit longer and it was fine. Excellent service. Had a 25 minute wait but it was well worth the wait. They offer low calorie salad dressing. Highly recommend.

Country cooking at its best! Lunch special is a meat plus THREE sides for only $7 and change. We got country fried steak. It was great. Generous portions. Sweet creamed corn was our favorite side. Greens were just meh. Overall loved this little gem.

Outstanding southern food and atmosphere! Service is good and prices are reasonable. There normally will be a 5-10 wait for a table. Also, there is a gift shop with a variety of items to choose from.

Bangkok Pad Thai

Reviewed By Andi20102010 - Waverly, Tennessee

My husband found this restaurant in a quick online search after we had been to the Lebanon Outlet shops. We were looking for something unique and close by.

Location: I believe that from reading reviews that this restaurant has been quite successful because it wasn't in the small location described in some prior reviews. It is now in a small strip mall and occupies a nice large corner spot with a large amount of indoor seating as well as some outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. The environment is clean and well maintained. Décor is pleasant and well balanced, letting the food and service take center stage rather than the décor like in some restaurants.

Staff: The young lady who was our server was very friendly and attentive. She answered all of our questions and took some time to share background about the owners of the restaurant (we asked about authenticity and whether some of the selections were from family recipes). We were excited to learn that the owners had incorporated many family recipes into the menu and their cooking was an authentic family craft.

Food: Wow! I moved to Tennessee from out of state about 11 years ago and have been on the hunt for some authentic shrimp Pad Thai that would be equal or better to some from a favorite Thai restaurant in my hometown. I travel throughout Tennessee for my job and have tried Pad Thai in many different "Thai" restaurants while I'm on the road - my quest had been unsuccessful until now! The Pad Thai here was superb. My husband and I both had shrimp Pad Thai. I liked that we were given a 1-5 choice in terms of heat - my husband chose a 4 and I chose a 3. I also liked that the peanuts were off to the side of the noodles so they could be mixed in per customer preference. Also, the bean sprouts were super fresh and crunchy. The noodles were flat thin rice noodles and cooked perfectly as well as drained thoroughly (so that they weren't sitting in a puddle of water like I sadly experienced in other places). The flavors were a symphony - really! The portions were generous and I really could have taken some of my portion home if I hadn't been so excited about eating it all on the spot!

Price: very reasonable - we had an appetizer, drinks and shrimp Pad Thai and the total was under 30 dollars. Worth every cent!

Special diet: I recently was ordered by a specialist to get on a gluten free diet so I had to ask about all of the ingredients in my selection (something that can be very tedious when dining out) - I was so happy to learn that my selection was made with gluten free ingredients - how refreshing. Another jewel in the crown was the fact that when I asked about it, our server was more than happy to ensure that my needs were accommodated - no fuss, no problem. Also, I have a mushroom allergy so I also had to assure there were no mushrooms cooked on the same grill, etc. It can be really challenging to assure all of this when dining out and it was nice not to have someone look at me like I was just being picky for no reason. As I write this, it's the day after our dining experience and I can say that all is well! If you have ever cut something out of your regular diet and then accidentally consumed that item of food, it can make you very sick - trust me on this... So again, another good selling point for this restaurant - my happy day-after health tells me that all needs were accommodated!

Although this restaurant is about 1 1/2 hour drive from where we live, we both agreed that we would make the trip on a weekend just for the sake of eating here again! Fantastic!

So...what part of Christmas Crazy do you remember? Getting stuck in the front yard? Kids being...ah, kids. The carryout meal from Blue Moon Barbecue...yes, remember that. First, since I was paying for the whole thing, I wanted to shop around. Everyone else was, well..out there. Enter Blue Moon. My daughter suggested this place. She was right. We had all kinds of pork and Turkey...with finger foods to boot. It was seasoned well and very tasty. So glad we found this. Oh...my wallet? It was still in good shape. Try them...! You will be pleasantly surprised.

I went off the reviews on this establishment but I wasn't impressed. My fries wasn't done, and Coke slaw tasted of a lot of vinegar, the hamburger steak hoagie was good. My daughter got a hot fudge cake to go, there was no cake just chocolate fudge, vanilla ice cream, whipped topping and a cherry. I thought that was strange.

Reviewed By JimSTL1021 - Saint Louis, Missouri

We had never tried eating at a Chick-Fil-A so we stopped in here to sample their fare. The dining room was kept spotless by constant attention from the staff. We found the food to be very average - similar to other fast food establishments. The grilled chicken filet sandwiches were dry and tasteless - definitely needing some kind of sauce to boost the flavor. Can't say that will give them a second try!

The first impression from the outside was very plain and boring, so I was pleasantly surprised with the warm cozy interior. I was also pleased to know they had a good variety of GF dishes. We ordered an appetizer that came with bread. I specifically asked if the bread came separately and was told yes. When the dish came the toasted, crumbly bread was laying on top preventing me from eating the dish. The server said she was sorry, but no offer was made to correct the problem.
Our meals were tasty and presented well. I had pork loin and my husband had Shepherd's pie. The portions were large; we both had to-go plates. Prices were somewhat high, especially the desserts.
The score would have been higher had something been done about their mistake. Not being able to eat something I ordered is unacceptable. The service was not what I expected from a restaurant of this caliber.
