I highly recommend The Pecan Crusted Chicken and Waffles. A huge Belgian waffle served with pecan butter and a spicy syrup. Fantastic! Great service and atmosphere.

We were in Lancaster for a week and went to Ale House about 5 times. It was so good, we wanted to try all the dishes. From apps to desert. Wait staff was super professional and friendly. Jamie was probably the best! Highly recommend Ale House!

We stopped here for a late lunch. What a great selection of healthy fresh food on the menu. The red white and blue salad, with Turkey and cranberries, was delicious. Service was friendly and food was served quickly. This restaurant offers nice art on the walls and books in the back. Worth a stop if you are in Lancaster.

This is a great place for steak or a burger. The wait was a little long (about 25 min) but the food and service was very good. We had a new server but they made sure to ask us how our server was doing.

I enjoy this little restaurant. They have interesting and healthy specials. Although the menu is not extensive, I like trying their creative offerings.

I felt stupid telling the owner Jamie that we live in Lancaster but have never eaten at Diamond Jim's and wow we have been missing a great pizza!
We ordered a large (16") pizza half mexican and half ground pepperoni with black olives, i also had a small italian salad. The pizza was very good, the thin cracker crust is delicious, the toppings were plentiful and tasty. We really liked the mexican pizza and look forward to trying other pizzas and sandwiches.
Our waiter was extremely nice and went over several menu items with us, he was prompt in keeping our drinks filled and making sure we were satisfied.
This place is so neat inside with lots of great decor and a jukebox. The restaurant is very clean and inviting. Thanks Jamie and the crew, you have a wonderful establishment, friendly service and fantastic food .. we will be back

I call this place a homecooking type restaurant and I wish we had ordered breakfast but we came at lunchtime and we had broasted chicken, fries, ham steak and potato salad. The portions and prices were good. Hubby thought the broasted chicken had no seasoning, he said it just tasted like it was coated with plain flour and fried. He put salt and pepper on it and said it was juicy on the inside and crispy outside. My ham was good, potato salad ok too. It came with rolls and butter and we were tempted to order pie but we didn't. I think we may come back sometime for breakfast as the plates we saw coming from the kitchen looked really good. They must serve breakfast all day here.

I go here for the sushi which is always fresh (and the choices are extensive). They have great lunch specials with sushi (but also non-sushi options if that's not your cup of tea). They have a lot of good appetizer choices as well. The music in there used to be rather loud but that's gotten better. It's also good for carry-out but give them plenty of time since sushi takes a while to put together.

We have passed Rooster’s numerous times in our travels but never had an opportunity to stop for a meal. Tonight we stopped and boy was the entire experience impressive. There are so many televisions mounted on the walls with different channels for the young at heart to the sports, news or talk show person. The food especially the chicken was so delicious & plentiful. I was so impressed with the food that I forgot to take pictures. The service (Sarah) was tremendous. We didn’t have to ask for one single thing. The parking lot was jammed packed but our wait of twenty minutes flew by. There is also an Ohio Lottery machine to but Lotto and Keno. One of the televisions is tuned to the Ohio Lottery where you can view the Keno drawings.
Rooster’s is a wonderful restaurant with a great atmosphere along with delicious food. We will definitely eat there often from now on.
