Excellent Sicilian calzone. Tiramisu was light and flavorful. Only negative was that they were out of Peroni, but had other beers. They do not serve wine. Prices are extremely reasonable.

As soon as you exit the Interstate, you cant miss this place because the big waterwheel spinning outside of the plaza. They mame REAL homemade icecream here! The owner/Mgr is most always there and they also have BBQ. Made from their own professional size (10feet long) BBQ grill in parking lot (in front of building). They have indoor seating and a little store full of tourist items too.

Everything is excellent! I was lucky to live in this town for 2.5 years and this was the BEST restaurant in town without being overly pricey or snobby. If anything, service was perfect, food delicious so what more could you want. Diane, the Head Cook and Bottle Washer is the soul of Southern Hospitality and so are her staff members. If you are anywhere near Grenada, drop in, get a great meal and enjoy being well treated. I'd eat there every night if I didn't live in Florida now.

McAlister's Deli is similar to Panera. You order the food at the counter and it is brought to your table. I had the Veggie Club sandwich and it was delicious. My mom had the French Dip and she said it was very good. There are also choices of salads, soup and potatoes. This restaurant has a nice variety of choices. I recommend eating here if you are staying in Grenada.

Know the location. Off the main highway. 22$ per person. Service was good. Has a bar and courtyard. Local ownership. Fried everything. Shrimp okra corn fritters catfish. Frog legs and boiled shrimp. Spaghetti and steamed/boiled fish some kind of pasta. Desserts and ice cream. Worth the visit for one time. We will return. Could use a bigger buffet bar. Advertises 50 items.

Upon advise of tripadvisor, we stopped in Grenada to try this restaurant. A handicapped space in front and wooden ramp to the door looked promising for access. However, there is a 4-5 inch threshold that no wheelchair can be rolled over without extraordinary strength or manuever. I stepped inside and waited for several customers to be served before inquiring about an alternate entry for the wheelchair user without a step or a portable wooden wedge to solve the step-up. I was offered kitchen helpers to lift the (power) wheelchair and user over the threshold. The gallant gesture does not recognize how unsafe a strategy this is to an individual with mobility needs or the unsuspecting staff. Fortunately, we found a lovely place downtown hospitable to diners with disabilities.

There are a couple Mexican style restaurants in this little town but THIS is where you want to be. Good food, consistent quality, and good prices. They even have a full bar and large enough for business meeting or parties. This is a safe place for family atmosphere all in one place.

We had no idea what to expect. We were just passing through after a week in Nashville. The service and food was excellent. Good wine choices. Steak cooked exactly as ordered. They forgot our salads, but when reminded, brought them promptly. I would highly recommend. We were staying at the Hampton Inn nearby.

On our way home , we stopped to have dinner. I ordered tai shrimp salad, very good, husband had grilled chicken, onions with potatoes, he enjoyed also, waitress was very nice also. The only negative was, as we were waiting for our food, we watch a employee cleaned off all the chairs, with a white rag, then proceed to wipe down the table, with the SAME cloth. Place was very busy..
