Went there with a friend. Nothing fancy but the food was excellent. Honestly can't pronounce either meal, let alone spell them, but we split our dishes and both of them were great. I fi ished with a Vietnamese iced coffee, best iced coffee I've ever had.

The vegetables were fresh and crisp, the pad thai had a nice combination of peanuts, shrimp, and chicken. The service was friendly and prompt, and the decorations were fun to look at. I especially enjoyed the sunflowers out front - those will be spectacular in a month.

THIS PLACE IS THE WORST. They truly have the rudest people that I have ever met in any kind of establishment. The food is less than mediocre. Cold and chewy seafood, crappy small portions. Brought my friends there from out of town and was so embarrassed by everything about this place. The server , a girl ignored us, made faces at us. Snotty, nasty attitude. We waited forever for some soup and then it was cold and asked for hot soup; they then forgot to bring it back. We purchased a hefty amount of food. Lobster was tiny and chewy, clams were hard and overdone. I could go on and on but why bother. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Nothing any of us had was good. I would have given it less than one circle rating but it isn't there..worse than terrible. OH YES AND FORGOT Super expensive and diner atmosphere. Who cares if the food is good but NOT!
I will say I have been going their market and that can't be beat. Awesome people there and fabulous fish. Buy it there and take it home...

Having lived in Fitchburg as a young kid and still having family there, I still go to Slattery's a few times a year. I was there last night, a lovely renovation in the dining room having recently been completed.
I've never not had a meal at Slattery's that wasn't terrific. The menu is diverse, I tried the fish tacos last night, and they were excellent. If you just want to get a sandwich or a burger, they got you covered. If you want a nice dinner, you can get that there, too.
Prices are reasonable, you can sit in the dining room (where there's a bar), or go to the back room where it's a little more casual to the bar which is good sized. They also have tables in the back room as well. The back room is a great place to watch a Pats game. Slattery's is a super place to meet friends and family, no matter the occasion.

Went to lunch here with my sister--we both come from different areas of the state to meet in the middle for lunch every few weeks. Decided to try this restaurant upon seeing it previously, traveling to Fitchburg for a lunch . Glad we did--nice, brightly decorated, clean restaurant with a friendly staff. We had fish tacos and burritos, after the best chips and salsa. The food was great. Can't wait to return before the snow flies!

Whether it's the Chinese or Japanese dishes (incl. excellent sushi), this place is consistently excellent serving fresh ingredients, nicely prepared.
Two suggestions;
- The fried rice is much too dry; it should not be wet but needs more moisture
- Better training of the teenagers who often handle the take out line...The lines get very busy and the "niceties" of effective customer contact seems not to be a priority..that's a mistake.

Dario's has the atmosphere of a neighborhood restaurant. The owner loves to chat with customers and point out pictures on the wall showing the building's history. Although you could just stop in for a drink (and a chat), you will want to experience a meal from beginning to end: bread drizzled in olive oil, antipasto or salad, appetizer, main course, and of course, wine. Unlike many restaurants, where you have to "settle" for the house wine, Dario's offers several excellent selections by the glass. Be sure to save room for tiramisu!

Been going there for years and the food is excellent. Service has always been outstanding and the portions are usually good for at least another if not 2 additional meals. Bring your own wine and they will supply the glasses and open the bottle for you. Don't hesitate to stop in and feel the hospitality of this restaurant - you won't go wrong.

This is a great breakfast stop after mass on Sunday mornings. Get there early because the crowds piling and you may have to wait a while but the wait is worth it. The service was great very attentive to our needs filling coffee as needed as well as anything else we wanted. The only drawback is it's very small and you may possibly have to wait for a table we did but it was well worth the wait prices are very very good. Enjoy!

On recommendation from a friend, came here for dinner. It did not disappoint. Excellent mussels appetizer. My friends got the pizza and they said it was great, especially the crust. My husband got a pasta dish, also great. My Italiano sandwich was very good, but I didn't ask for it to be grilled. Excellent service and ambiance. We will be back.
