The English Inn is "Creating Special Memories" with unparalleled ambiance and incredible cuisine. Hosting four stunning dining rooms the restaurant features classic preparations such as Chateaubriand for Two, Beef Tartare, and Roasted Prime Rib of Beef in addition to creative modern cuisine. The restaurant can host private parties from two to sixty. Our ballroom Medovue Hall can seat up to 200 guests for dinner receptions or weekday luncheons and meetings. The Pub and Terrace offer casual dining with classically British items such as Cornish Pasties, Fish and Chips and Shepherds Pie as well as unique sandwiches and salads. The setting is historic, the ambiance is elegant, the service is superb, and the culinary selections, preparations, and presentations are extraordinary. Oh, and did I mention delectably delicious?
Our group thoroughly enjoyed the Bacon and Potato Soup, Salmon Salad, Lobster Stuffed Walleye, Filet Mignon, Fish and Chips, and Chicken Cordon Bleu.
In our view, this is fine dining at its finest!

Had a great evening celebrating my birthday here. The servers were graciously accommodating when we requested to move out of the sunlight... unbeknownst to us, when we did so we changed sections for the servers, but they never made us feel like we were an imposition to them.
The rest of the evening was great! The menu is by far not large, but that is perfect!!!! The items and fares that do have are done superbly!!! Unique twists on traditional favorites along with bold flavor combinations makes this a great foodie destination! I'd challenge any larger community or city with a small craft food restaurant to hold par with this establishment.
The ambiance on the outside deck was lightened wonderfully when a local guitarist took to playing a varied selection of pop-culture hits from there late 60's-70's, think Cat Stevens, Bob Seger, The Eagles, and a great Jethro Tull! His dry wit and charm made everyone on the deck feel lighthearted and connected!
Overall it was a wonderful evening and an excellent dinner with family to celebrate number 36 for me! I don't normally like a spotlight on me for my birthday but this was GREAT!

Menu offers a wide variety of options. Our experiences have been excellent. Good service, great food, generous portions, moderate pricing. Open patio along the river, if you prefer being outside.

This is a great place to get a quick meal or meet up with the gang for a piece of pie. Auntie's food is the quick soup or sandwich on fresh, homemade bread, with top notch meats and cheeses. But my favorite thing about this place is the scrumptious pies! I can never choose just one so I end up bringing at least one other home with me! Always a wide variety to choose from, sometimes I just go and have pie for my meal!

Enjoy a great burger and a beer in a small town "hole in the wall". Abie's is a great place to converse, watch a game, or just hang out with some locals.

I love Mr. M's and normally will get it every Friday night when I work. The sandwiches are amazing! They are full of meat, toppings and are always hot. The Pizza's are even more amazing not only are they huge but the toppings are large. You can actually see them. The service is rather good, the only complaint I have is when they are busy it seems to take forever to get your order.The inside is nice but rather small, So if you plan to eat inside I would recommend going during the day and not wait till rush hour. The prices have been upped lately but it's still worth the extra dollar for the foot long sandwich you are going to get. You don't walk out hungry and that is worth the 9.00 dollars.

We had six of us eating and it was my first time and everyone recommended their half-pound burger. They had quite a variety of burgers to choose from. I had the mushroom-swiss cooked medium and I wasn't disappointed. We went at lunch time and although they weren't exceptionally busy the wait time was considerably longer then normal. My friends who eat there regularly said it was unusual from their experience.

Meet friends at Robin's Nest for breakfast. Ordered eggs with hash browns and hash. It came with toast or biscuit & gravy. Opted for the biscuit & gravy which was not very good. It was a white flower gravy over a biscuit. No sausage in the gravy and did not taste very good. The rest of the food was OK. When paying first was given change which was $5 short, then they gave me $5 too much. Would not bother to go back.
