We went for the Sunday night all you can eat chicken and it was Spectacular. The place was pack and we still got a drink right away and only waited 20 minutes for a table. I can't wait to go back for the fish!!

they also have really fun foods for small children, and big kids too:) Messy but fun. Great addition to a small community

I don’t understand the high ratings! This place is 100% a lunch spot, I convinced my fiancé to join me for dinner and he was so upset after we left. The lo carb options are tasteless, the prices are extremely high for what U get! If you order a steak for dinner, your side choices are grapes, mashed potatoes or chips WHAT? Yes, plz let me pay for a steak and I’ll take a side of grapes with that, unreal. So many other good places to go in GB! I know I’ll never convince my fiancé to go back.

I visited this place on the recommendation of a local guy who raved about it. And while it is clean and comfortable enough--and they served-up a respectable Buffalo Chicken Wrap--it isn't anything to get excited about (at least outside of Maribel).
It's definitely a place where virtually everyone is a regular that knows everyone else (and pretty much their whole lives too, I suspect). They were friendly enough but if you're not from there you'll feel like the outsider that you are.
So all of that said, it is NOT a bad place. I'm rating it average based on my one visit but the menu does look decent. Some might give it four stars, so if you're passing through it might be worth a visit.

Fantastic burgers as usual. I'm not sure which Mary waited on the negative one star people but the Mary that has waited on us every time is great. So is the food. Burgers are close to the top for Wisconsin, maybe the country. And what's with rippin' on the place because the locals hang there? If I lived near the place I'd hang out there too! Well worth the drive to the middle of nowhere.

Joy's atmosphere is quaint and relaxed, with great music playing in the background, and cute quotes and decor scattered throughout. It's a better than average bar menu, but the broasted chicken makes it irresistible! You have to wait a few minutes, but the flavor and crispiness are well worth the wait. Lots of locals eat there, so there is plenty to chat about while you're waiting. Definitely worth the drive.

We went for lunch and got the grouper cakes and burgers. Everything was very good and the decor had a new and clean look. Service was typical with frequent enough check ups. Had some interesting drinks on the menu and a good beer selection. I would definitely go back for dinner sometime.

We have eaten there several times in the last couple of years. Our favorite is the Tuesday special which is pork roast, mashed potatos and a veggie. Excellent!!! We also like the breakfast. Nothing fancy but very good.

Extensive salad bar and two choices of soup are my favorite part of the meal. The menu is pretty extensive and portions are generous.
There is a bit of a wait, but we prefer to relax with a drink before eating so it is not a problem for us. Cheese and crackers are available in the bar area if you need a little snack while waiting.
