We were from out of town and Oakwood Cafe was recommended by a local citizen as “the place for lunch”. He was absolutely right!
Our meals were served hot and were delicious. The vegetables were fresh. Our server was attentive and provided great service.
If you want a home cooked meal, Oakwood Cafe is the place to satisfy your craving.

We are from Maine- where home made ice cream is popular and available. We moved to McKenzie, TN 2 years ago. We had not found ANY home made ice cream shops only DQ, BR and Blue Bunny. We thought this was ridiculous because it's HOT in TN- where are all the REAL ice cream shops? Turns out they are in Dalton, Georgia! We are staying in Chattanooga- I Googled Ice cream and found Brusters! Got a wffle cone with Pumkin Pecan and Caramel Apple Pie.

My family and I adore Cheesecake Heaven. They have a huge assortment to choose from. Everything is always so clean and fresh. The staff is also so friendly whenever we pop in. I recommend them to anyone that likes cheesecake!

Came for lunch 2x and enjoyed the food both times. It was a little pricey for me, and a little off the beaten path, too. The traditional chicken salad was delicious. Do yourself a favor and just get it from the deli side and avoid the restaurant. The wait staff was pitiful, atmosphere was loud (video of live music that played at the cafe previously), and accommodations spartan. You can get a pound of the chicken salad for the same price as a sandwich and a bag of chips. Much better deal. My co-worker ordered the twice-baked potato with bbq and he said it was delicious.

Again, excellent service with very polite people working there. They are always so nice. These places are always packed. Service even thou crowed was very good and fast.
My food was great and I love you can get fresh fruit at this fast food restaurant. A small, medium, or large cups of fruit. So much better than fries. My breakfast sandwich was great.
I love that they are closed on Sundays.
Very clean and nice. Gladly go back.

This place has Awesome burgers. Hubby had Ms Piggy burger. It was awesome. I had the Blue Martini it was great. Ladies you'll want to ask to have it cut in half. An order of fries is huge enough for two. If you don't have an addiction. :)
The fish and Subs looked awesome too which we will try on our next visits.

Have been to Cherokee many, many times. Good selection of beer on tap. Pizza is good, if you like the more thin crust versions. Interesting pizza options with toppings, etc. Organize to some degree like a European beer hall. Can get very loud, but I like it that way. Service is outstanding. Barry, David and Alicia are excellent at the bar. Would recommend it to anyone.

I personally think all of the "meat-and-three" restaurants in Northwest GA are fairly rinse and repeat with some doing a few things better than the others. This is one of my favorites of those, though. It's a nice price for buffet style and their meats are usually tasty. This one has a slightly nicer salad bar than most and some soup, too. It's a little cramped inside so go early, but I'd say check it out.

I had dinner here and was pleasantly surprised when the manager gave me my meal for free! I had ordered their special which was steak and unlimited shrimp. They ran out of the fried shrimp, so I had to change my order. No big deal, I just ordered something else. But the manager came by later and apologized and said my steak dinner would be free. Now that's customer service! Oh and by the way, I always like their food.
