Most Popular Restaurants in Dallas

April 14, 2018 Fernanda Pittenger

Dallas (/ˈdæləs/) is a city in the U.S. state of Texas. It is the most populous city in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, which is the fourth most populous metropolitan area in the United States. The city's population ranks ninth in the U.S. and third in Texas after Houston and San Antonio. The city's prominence arose from its historical importance as a center for the oil and cotton industries, and its position along numerous railroad lines. The bulk of the city is in Dallas County, of which it is the county seat; however, sections of the city are located in Collin, Denton, Kaufman, and Rockwall counties. According to the 2010 United States Census, the city had a population of 1,197,816. The United States Census Bureau's estimate for the city's population increased to 1,317,929 as of July 1, 2016.

They do not honor any of the specials that are advertised !!! This place is extremely dirty outdated and in bad need to be torn down and hope that a new rebuild would improve their business.

Very good little place with good food all over, good variety of beers and wines and laid back atmosphere. I had the greek gyro with lamb and it tasted great. Also very friendly staff. Keep it up and please add some drinks for kids in the future.

Our first was that this restaurant has no dining facilities; the second was the price of carry-out in Dallas. I was amazed at the number of reviewers who thought the catfish fillet was excellent: there is a difference between fillet and nuggets, the latter of lesser quality, offering greater opportunity to bread. The green shrimp offered similar opportunity to taste shrimp flavored bread. I will say the French fries with peelings were well above average.

Dunkin' Donuts

Travelling from South Carolina through to Tennessee, I made a stop for some early morning go-juice and a yummy doughnut. I did not check **** prior to stopping, but after I checked-in while standing in line the rating made sense to me. (another review site has poor ratings!)

There was a constant long line around the building for the drive-thru, so I decided to head inside. They definitely didn't seem to be in a hurry. Slow service with average to low attitudes along with a very dirty interior warrants you a two star review.

A plus side out of the whole visit was a yummy blueberry doughnut and a tasty cold brew coffee!

Our family ate here on a weeknight. The service was attentive and friendly. We ordered the "two for $20 platter" which is actually enough for 4 people. It is a pre-selected platter of catfish, flounder, perch and shrimp. The seafood was good and we plan to go back again soon. Go early on weekends since they get very crowded.

We are a small Independant restaurant. We focus on good quality food for a reasonable price. We have been in business since 1960. My Father started the business when he got out of the Air Force. We are always happy to let our new customers try a sample of our food before they order it.We work very hard to try to make you feel welcome. We have Brisket everyday, which is smoked for 17 hours, this is a must try if you like BBQ.

A hole in the wall kind of place; we had the pulled pork plate with cole slaw, potato salad and hush puppies. It was awesome; served with home made vinegar sauce. Price very reasonable, big portions.
We will be back to try ribs and beef brisket.

We had called the Texas Roadhouse the day before (Dec. 23rd) to see what time they would be open on Christmas Eve. Was told they would be open until 7:00. We got into town, did some other things and arrived at the restaurant after checking in at the Hampton Inn just a few minutes after 6:00. Was told they changed their minds and closed early. We pled our case to them since they had told us 7:00 the day before, and they seated us at the bar and took care of us. They really didn't want to, but they did. We ordered salads, ate quickly and got out before others in the place even had their food. So, overall pretty good experience, salads were good, and and they gave us a 10% hotel discount too, so all ended well. Very nice location for the Hampton Inn, you walk less than 50 yards right into the front door.
