Innovative menu, nice variety, not just pizza and pastas. Wood-fired pizza made with fresh ingredients. Everything made fresh to order. Small bites menu served in main dining room. Catered to my dairy allergy. Excellent selection of local and Belgian beers, and nice wine menu as well. Would definitely return.

That's what they have printed on their business cards - a newish motto for what is evidently a very old bakery (antique photos on the wall - and there 'tis). We stopped in after lunch for dessert. I was a little disappointed in the selection - no cream pastries (eclairs, cream puffs etc.) - mainly cookies and cupcakes. I got a couple of jelly filled sugar cookies and a couple of linzer tortes. They were all quite good; my husband had a cannolli and a Boston cream doughnut; evidently they were also good as he wolfed them down. Just wish they had more selection...

We ate here while in town visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame.
The pizza came out piping hot.... Light crispy crust, rich stretchy cheese, great pepperoni, and a sweet sauce. Yum!
Staff was friendly and prices were reasonable. Can’t go wrong if you’re looking for a good slice of ‘za!

When I was a kid and we came to Cooperstown (usually for some baseball-related thing with my older brother - bor-ing to a little girl) I was excited because it was Penny Candy Land. I remember nostalgic general store type places which I liked very much as an 8 or 9 year old. Tin Bin Alley (along with the General Store across the street, which has some candy, but has gone along Dollar Tree lines) is what's left of that Cooperstown, even if it's not exactly the penny candy store of your memories. It's where there are bins of penny candy, and delicious chocolates. There are also gifts and jewelry, mostly national lines available in card or gift shops anywhere, but some
local handicrafts and some other unique finds.

Stopped here for a quick lunch, very friendly staff, delicious sandwich, very pleasant surrounds. All in spite of some very irksome street construction ongoing right in front of the grill.

Loved the look of it from the outside,simple quaint store front,beautifully decorated,warm looking and inviting.Nice wine list,most of your standard italian fare with some diffrent dishesvand specials.Excellent warm crispy bread and oil provided.Had basic chicken parm done very well,wife had eggplant with ravioli topped with mozz,never had that combo,but very good.Stop in for great italian food.

Wasnt sure what expect,very small and local.Entered the bar area,felt like someones house,just a few tables and small bar,cozy gas fireplace.Warmly greeted and seated.Craft beer was excellent as was the Garlic Pesto Fries.Had a juicy steak burger also.Nice conversation with locals.Really enjoyed it.Food was good...MoreThank you

Grabbed a late lunch at Mel’s at 22 after a long drive up to Cooperstown. We couldn’t have picked a better place!
We shared a few fantastic appetizers over an outstanding bottle of wine!! Our server was very sweet and made us feel so welcome! We actually went back the next night for dinner and had the same server... and dinner was just as fantastic!!
Mel’s at 22 is a MUST!!

We stopped for breakfast today, and found ourselves the only tourists in the restaurant- everyone else was greeted by name- but that doesn't mean we weren't treated warmly. The gentlemen enjoying their coffee when we arrived suggested we select a table away from the door when they saw us debating our options. Another later adeptly picked up on the fact I wanted to ask the waitress a question and sent her over when she was done helping him. In addition to the warm atmosphere, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. A must stop!
