We ate at a table in the bar so we could listen to the piano player who was a friend of a friend. Service was good. We shared the huge order of yummy fried crab claws and then my friends had a nice steak. As I allowed our server to choose for me, I had the evening special of steak tips over a bleu cheese sauce which was good. But the macaroni and cheese was star of the evening.
I was disappointed they did not have a happy hour as most finer restaurants offer but we did learn that's in the works soon.

The great thing about a Chick-fil-A is you already know what to expect and this location continues the tradition. Folks are nice, food is fresh and the service is quick. Great job.

The first time I went here, I had the catfish plate. It was quite good, but I sampled my husband's rib plate, and there's been no looking back--it's been the rib plate for me ever since. In all fairness, there are any number of other things you can choose from, but I think they serve the best ribs in the metro area.
You can use the drive through or place your order inside at the counter. You are speedily served with your meal in a styrofoam container. It's very casual, obviously, and there are tables inside or you can sit outside. I've never been here when they weren't doing a very brisk business both inside and with the drive through, but you will get your order quickly.
Unless your idea of going out to eat is a place with soft background music and white tablecloths, you should check out the Frisco Deli without delay.

On vacation and have now tried 3 Bop's during trip. The taste on this chocolate frozen shake was delicious. The creaminess makes this very much worth the calories. Our first experience with frozen custard was Shake in Destin which were so Good. Bop's just as good.

I love and miss the south Louisiana seafood joints with my seared yellowfin. So to my surprise when i saw it on Half Shells menu i had to try it. Cooked to perfection (seared on both sides) and tasted fantastic. Got the sample platter of oysters too for an appetizer and they were great as well. Can’t wait to go back and try something else. Looks like a good place to be on a Friday and Saturday night.

only reason not 5 is it'd a bit pricy for type of food. we are local and eat here alot. favorites are tamales.. yummy, cheese bread, Popeye pizza, Lucille pizza, Jalepeno wings, spaghetti and meat all for kids. don't care for the Rotel pasta or pizza. too much cheese.

I come to Flowood annually on business & have been visiting Georgia Blue at least once on each of these visits for several years.
The first thing I not about GB is it always friendly. Hostess, server, chef seem genuinely happy to be there. That makes customers happy to be there.
I have eaten a wide variety of soups & entrees and have never been disappointed.
Gumbo is always excellent, but can vary a bit from visit to visit because it is made in-house every day.
Seafood is fresh. Seasonings are bold. Presentations are artful.
I have no reason to not visit again next time I am in the Jackson area.

During a very busy afternoon, my Wife and I, not wanting to cook at home, chose one of our favourite casual restaurants, Newk's. We have dined here and always liked the experience. I chose my hands down favourite Sandwich, the Italian and my Wife followed her favourite Sandwich as well, the Newk's Q. The food was fantastic, as usual, and the casual atmosphere just works so well! We'll continue to make Newk's a regular stop.

local and we eat here quite a bit. sometimes service is slow. our favorites are burgers, shrimp pizza, pepperoni pizza, chicken Philly sandwich, and the Crawfish at the back porch are great. fun in the summer when Crawfish in season and bands out back. family friendly even at night.

We love this buffet and anytime we are in the mood for this type of cuisine we choose Ichiban. The variety is very good and the food quality is excellent. It is always clean and the wait staff does a good job. Will keep coming back.
