When we walked into the restaurant we were immediately greeted by one of the servers. She gave us and a table and asked what we would like to drink. The waitress appeared and took our dinner order and made some recommendations. We tried the recommendation that was the triple dinner. Fettuccini, meatballs and lasagna, more food than we could, but everything was delicious.

On our road trip from Phoenix to Los Angeles, we stopped at Ruby’s for lunch. The food was very good, and service was even better. It was a relief to see employees actually care about their jobs. The diner made such a lasting impression we stopped again on the way home 4 days later. We had the same experience both times and now will make Ruby’s our go to stop to and from when we travel.

Anthony Bourdain (No Reservations, Travel Channel) Our Banning location is off the I-10 Freeway at 22nd Street exit. Come up to Ramsey Street then turn left. We are the second driveway on the right.

Having just gotten back from New Orleans and oyster gorging 101 ways, I thought maybe a place like Fisherman's might serve good fried oysters. I was really disappointed. They were black! I am not sure what that meant but I tried one and it was really strong. Spoiling? Was it a canned? or bottled product? certainly not fresh. Every one likes Fisherman's so I gave it a 3 because their other good is probably really good.

The coffee is the same as any other location. The drive-thru is a bit slow for my liking but I have seen worse. I haven't actually gone into the location so I don't know what the staff is like but the drive-thru is definitely convenient.

This trip I had eggs, pancakes and bacon Slam Dunk option. Cooked perfectly, pancakes were tender and flavorful. Wait staff is bubbly and wonderfully accommodating.
Large Cinnamon Rolls are a particular treat. Take some home. Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Figured walking in this would be 'mall food', and just something to just fill me up in between shopping. Instead, the meal ended up being delicious, at an incredible price. I don't know how many of these locations are across the US, but this would be a wise investment as a franchise near college campuses.

Read the other reviews and they really say it all - fabulous food. I will say that
being a gringo I didn't find the food overly spicy/too hot for me. I do pass on
their red/ green sauce and get extra salsa which is really good. All the meat
they use, both beef and pork, is excellent and well cooked. Also you might
want give their corn chips a try - I like them a lot. This is a regular customer
review from a local and not BS.

Guy's Italian Restaurant

Reviewed By Cowboymom5856 - Central California

We stopped in because there is always a crowd in the parking lot. We should of turned around when we saw people eating mac and cheese in the bar! My husband had what they called manicotta, but it wasn't. It was two sheets of pasta with mozzarella cheese in between. There was some bottle tomato sauce spread over the top. It was gross. I had cheese ravioli and they were horrible. I did not expect homemade ones, but edible ones would have been nice. I also ordered a tequila drink and it was made with the rot gut Tijuana tequila that I didn't know they still made.

It was stifling hot in the restaurant. The only semi redeeming feature was that it was very inexpensive. Our dinner was $18. We would have gladly paid double for decent food. It is a sad state of affairs when it is rated the best restaurant that Banning has to offer. It is not. I would say that this area does not have a clue about Italian food, but we ate at Russo's down the street and it was actually pretty good!
