Simply put this is a great sandwich restaurant - great food and great service - immaculate and the people are so very nice.
My wife and I were on Hatteras Island for business - she went to Bro's for lunch and I had takeout from Bro's and when we later compared notes we were in total agreement: Bro's is terrific.
We live about 90 minutes away but its worth the drive - we shall return.

We've been here many times and each time seems to get better. Great ice cream, Italian ice, shaved ice and sundaes. The service is great and staff are always friendly. Highly recommend everyone makes a stop to enjoy ice cream. They even show outdoor movies.

Its an every morning ritual while in Avon. Great service, they know my order by second morning and always ask if I want my regular. Nice little bead shop in the back room for rainy days. Wish I could have stopped in this am but our trip was cut in half just like/with the power line.

Had a variety of yogurt flavors including "wonderberry" which was really good. Lots of topping variety, some not as fresh as others. We had a coupon for a dollar off (which are everywhere). Girl that waited on us was not too friendly.

Outstanding all-fruit smoothies and first class NYC style bagels.
The coffee is just so-so. Also, their website says they do slow pour-over coffee, which they do not. I don't like vendors whose claims don't match their practices.
We bought coffee there only once.

Thoroughly enjoyed this place. For vegetarians, finding a good place to eat at the beach can be challenging. From the fried pickles and beet salad appetizers to the mushroom ravioli and curry dish entrees, everything was delicious. Also loved all the N.C. beers available.Thank you for the detailed review! Returned to Gidget's to get a dinner pizza - ordered their "Heavyweight" for carryout - it was delicious, and right on time. They've added cheese platters to their offerings and I can't wait to try them. Good pizza for a good price.

We go to this Dairy Queen every year we vacation in Avon. They are always busy...line out the door most times. The employees there are the model of efficiency. They are always polite and never seem overwhelmed. We have witnessed other guests get irritated and rude and the employees always handle themselves professionally . I'm impressed year after year! Keep up the good work!
