The new owner had some rough spots in the beginning as most do. Today, the food and service is nearly as good as that of the long-time prior owner. Their grill clearly exceeds most others in our area in the category of Bar Food and their meals are quite good. The Pizza is very good and better than most; but lacks the #1 rating for the area bestowed on the prievious owner.Wino

This gem of a pub and eatery was formally known as the Bastress Hotel and was built in the late 1800s. A place where friends and family have chosen to come together to enjoy fine spirits and great food for many years.

This is a pub, but the dinners are usually great. They have good steak dinners, good salads. The wings we subpar, due to being undercooked. My only recommendation is to beef up the bar choices. I realize that the bar serves mostly beer, but also offer mixed cocktails with fresh limes and lemons. I ordered a margarita on the rocks and I got a blank stare. I ended up ordering a gin and tonic and the cocktail came in a very large soda glass with a dried out lime. It wasn't bad, but needs some work.

We stayed at Hampton Inn so this was within walking distance to the hotel. It is a Sports Bar and was very cold inside. I had wings and salad. Lots of sauce on wings and very fatty. Service okay but given number of patrons not that fast, would not eat there again.

We had burgers and fried fish and they were both good, hot, and inexpensive. Lunch fish special was $9.99 with shrimp and macaroni and cheese and burgers are $6.95 with fries.

Stopped by on our way across PA and sampled several beers and enjoyed some appetizers. The food we had was great, and we enjoyed the quantity and quality of the beer choices. Like some of the other reviews have stated, the bar is fairly small and seating is limited.We'll be back the next time we're travelling through the area!

Been here to drink a time or two, never eaten here. Had to work on a Saturday till noon. I'd been thinking about grabbing a beer and burger. Glad I picked this place. Bear burger rocked. 2 cold beers,awesome burger and fries for $15.00!!! WINNING!!!

Left the Little League World Series early one day because it was so hot. Decided to grab a quick drink and some food at the Bullfrog brewery. Our meals were excellent the beer was delicious in the brewery was family and kid friendly. If youâre in Williamsport I would recommend this stop. They also offered Little League trading pins from the brewery. Made my nephews day as he is now a collector at age 10

We tried to stop by one night but couldnât find it. Located in an alley. Kind of hidden but worth finding. Food was very good. Cocktails were great. Also sits across the alley from the cutest bakery.

Strong recommendation for this establishment. âï¸ pub nachos were awesome. Shepherds Cottage Pie finished off the meal. Full size portions and smaller (Wee) sized too! Sorry no pics...we were so hungry we forgot to take pictures.
