I went to Ransom around 3:30âin between regular meal hours. We had some drinks and light snacks. There is a lot of natural light, a good size bar, plenty of seating where one can chat with low noise levels. Itâs wheelchair accessible, some parking, but this could go fast during peak hours. The menu accommodates veggy eaters and meat eaters, and offers a number of great choices.

I had lunch here with a visiting co-worker from another part of the state. We had hamburgers and french fries. He had the egg burger with regular fries and was absolutely thrilled. I had the mushroom Swiss burger with rosemary fries and found them satisfying but not incredible. Both of us were pleased with both price and taste. Our server was the item that put 3333 over the top. She was honest and told us both fries were purchased frozen and described them well. When I was finished and had Abit of a sweet tooth, she recommended we go next door to the Appalachia Cookie company rather than get something there- what a surprise to hear. But she was right (see the next review)

Tapp Room is most certainly where all the locals (college kids) go to get there kicks. This place is lively and a great people watching spot. You can get great eats here too! Tacos, burgers, sandwiches, and don't forget, every brew you've every wanted to try!

NRB has gotten it right with atmosphere, hospitality, food and brews. The space has a wonderful vibe. They might not know your name the first time you visit, but if you visit very often, they sure will. Either way, they are gonna treat you like family. I've had some mighty good food at NRB...wings, burgers, ribs, brisket are all the best around. Tater cakes, pups, mac & cheese all great, and if you like veggies, the broccoli, Brussels sprouts and asparagus are hard to beat. Deviled eggs, fried pickles, onion rings--also the best around. Try the new fresh-baked apples and the new fresh apple pastry. Adam's been brewing like a madman...try his Oktoberfest Ale.

The only reason to go here anymore are all the TVâs. After that I canât think why. I used to come here all the time. Management/ownership has changed ALOT! Lost track of bartenders always some one new and dumber than the one before. Lastest visit was par for the course. Bartender was practicing her pours w a kit from amazon probablyCause this place has no actual management that know what their doing. My whiskey âneatâ was a thimble full maybe,(losing money-short pour) and my medium rare burger was gray, not even a himt of pink. Why ask how I want it cooked? Cook stood at the bar looking at his phone for 7 minutes while my order was made. Potato salad was best part of meal, except for the 1970âs style paprika all over it...Place was clean and has a ton of tvâs. Beer was cold.

A tradition when we're in town, an afternoon cocktail at the Boone Saloon! Extremely casual place to meet up with friends & family. We've only had a snack there a few times but it was tasty bar food.

We arrived for lunch about 11:00 last Sunday. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We each ordered a custom hamburger and fries. Our burgers were good, not spectacular. The fries were very good. We were able to get in and out quickly, and our meals were reasonably priced. Overall we enjoyed a pleasant lunch.
