Check out Monday nights, super musicians from 5:30 on playing a number of traditional Irish airs and tunes. We enjoyed the music while sipping a very good Fiddlehead IPA on draft and quite decent martinis.Our table split two orders of haddock bites which were light and crispy, the fish lovely and mild. Pronounced more than quite acceptable by our Scottish fisherman.We ladies split a delightful Reuben, the men folk ordered steak tips and surf n turf, our sisters ordered salads and a veggie quesadilla and split those. The salad girls kept on filching our crunchy, delightful French fries.I like the Snug, it is a small, homely place with the warm welcome of a good Irish or Scottish pub, forward thinking with its beer selection and great food. The bathroom is clean and there is entertainment several nights a week.Highly recommended if you are on the South Shore.

Well, disappointed with our visit to Alumni. Kids burgers were nicknamed "hockey pucks", meatless burger was not good, steak tips were so tough and soup (chicken wild rice) was not good. We all left food. The owner was there and I should of said something. My mistake

Great stop for a quick bite or snack. Not a large menu, but good service and availability. Pub like atmosphere; burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches. Good pre round breakfast options as well.

This is a restaurant in a golf clubhouse. The new owners are just getting their feet under them. Look forward to going back and seeing how things have progressed.Thank you for your feedback. After being closed all of last summer, and under "needed repairs" for most of this year - The Olde Salt House adjacent to Atlantica has finally reopened. We were so excited to visit one of our favorite al fresco spots - but so disappointed once we got there. Unattractive benches are the first thing you trip over as you enter the space. Menu is NOTHING like it used to be under the former owners. We ordered Rose wine (it was okay - nothing I'd request the label of) and a shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were also "just okay" - but arranged on a glass plate that at one time had ice but quickly turned to water. We had to dry off each shrimp before eating. Not a pleasant experience. Doubt we'll ever go back - so sad.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner and a nice, cold beer the other night.I enjoyed the Irish Curry Chicken, which was the most delicious curry dish Iâve ever had. Yum yum!My husband ordered the Rueben, which he said was excellent.The waitstaff was very attentive and we truly enjoyed our experience there.Iâm looking forward to returning.

Was in the area working and looking for some great seafood to treat myself and this spot failed to land a punch.The chowder was barely warm and the clam strips were over cooked and rubbery! The service was good though but with so many other places pass on by

Six of us stopped here on a Tuesday evening for dinner. The place was really busy, but we were seated within ten minutes.The atmosphere is local pub. They had entertainment a singer who was very good. Tuesdays are taco Tuesdays, so three in our group had the tacos. Everyone enjoyed them, the tacos are good size the pulled pork and shrimp were the favorites. One person had a salad with shrimp the salad was crisp and fresh and the shrimp were good size. Two of us had the ribs which were tender and very flavorful, they were a half rack, the baked beans and coleslaw were also very good. They have a good selection of craft beers. The service was quick and friendly. We will definitely return. It is a little loud but a fun atmosphere.

My wife and I waited at the bar until friends came for us to be seated at a table. Alan, the bartender is a great guy and very attentive. Portions are large. The Bacon Mac and Cheese was humongous and would feed two people. All fresh food including side vegetables. The curried chips are a must. A British style curried gravy over french fries...Awesome! The grilled shrimp app. was great too. Love the ambiance. Cozy and warm pub atmosphere.

This is a small place, but well worth a visit. We sat at the bar to take advantage of the happy hour discounted oysters. They were fresh, juicy, and flavorful. The cocktails were good, and the service was friendly. We'd also shared a few appetizers, nothing was wow...but they were good.
