The âShovelâ has a long and storied past and was once the location of the first helicopter flight in the world. Today, clean comfortable rooms, delicious meals and a fun filled atmosphere await you and your friends after enjoying any of the four seasonâs
Ate both a lunch and a dinner recently with friends. Most of us were from out of town. Excellent customer service from the moment we entered to our departure. The menu is very extensive for both food and drink. Very personable servers and staff. The place is pretty clean and has been renovated. We all enjoyed our meals and the various beer choices. The food arrived on a timely basis and with good portion sizes. Bathroom was clean. If you are in Rossland or passing through this is a great find for dining and drinking.

A good range of food options served by pleasant staff in a timely manner. It is good to be able to see the chefs working in the kitchen. There is a wide range of beer and wine.I had the ribs one night and returned again the next to have the ribs again, but it was a pity I appeared to have the same mashed potato batch as the day before.Prices were reasonable and I will be back next time I am in town.
