The only downside to this place is that it is not opened more often. We have eaten there many times. The service is always friendly, engaging and warm. Krys is a perfect hostess.The food is excellent; the helpings are generous, maybe even too generous and the quality is without fault with excellent flavours. The food is typical Provencale fayre and well cooked.While it is open most days for lunch, evening meals only happen on Saturday nights and special occasions, but these are a treat.We have been pleased to entertain friends and family here and we have never been disappointed.Hello and one thank you for your encouragements. You are welcome in our establishment and our whole team is very happy to welcome you there. Krys and Bruno to the Restaurant Café Paul.

J'argumente : Que le temps d'attente soit un peu long, c'est ce que j'attends d'un restaurant qui utilise des produits frais, jusque là tout va bien, le cadre sympa, l'accueil cordial, là où ça se gâte c'est ce qui sort de la cuisine: Présentation médiocre, cuisson du veau lamentable, assiettes froides, plat insipide, sauce dénuée d'intérêt. Dessert à la Paul Bocuse catastrophique sans saveurs. Total 100⬠à deux pour un repas à oublier. Un grand conseil : goûtez vos plats avant de les servir et révisez vos prétentions, je suis désolé, j'aurai tellement aimé passer un bon moment.

Not everything on the menu was available but that didn't bother us. The meat from the grill was ordered medium but was too rare, but it tasted wonderful. So no biggie about the rare vs medium (I eat rare from time to time). The gambas were really tasteful and the rice was lovely. The kids dinner was more than good (nuggets with tasty french fries).Fast service and friendly staff. Poor English but that wasn't a hurdle.

Bien mangé ; assiette bien présen;tée ;bon acceuil ; terrasse brumisee ;grand choix de bières a la pompe ; plats à prix démocratiques ; carte limitée mais plat enfant dispo. Dessert maison excellent. Très bonne brasserie on y retournera Seul petit point d amélioration les toilettes à rendre plus user friendly

While stiffer places like La Remise might offer slightly fancier food, Bar Tabac du Lac is a great relaxed choice in the centre of the village. With a good selection of fresh salads, pizzas and mains, friendly staff and decent prices, it's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.
