Cumbuco is a small fishing village situated about 25 kilometres (16 mi) North West from the city of Fortaleza, in the state of Ceara, along the north east coast of Brazil. The population is around 1600. The village is regarded as picturesque and scenic and is attracting both domestic and international tourism. Cumbuco has a beautiful and quiet beach near Fortaleza on one side of town and the famous sand dunes on the other side. There is a small and busy village centre built around the main square adjacent to the beach which has a fresh fish market, tropical palm trees, and several beach restaurants (barracas).

This place is the best to lay down, relax and enjoy the kites flying on the sky. their puffs are so confy! No plastic chairs/tables!Service is kind of slow but who is in a hurry in a place like that? The day I spent there there were live music. They even have a store at the beach loung.

A localização da barraca é otima, mas cheia de gatos. Vc estava comendo e os gatos ficam te cercando. Foi angustiante, tinha um gato todo perebento. A comida nao era suficiente. Pedimos de entrada iscas de peixe e como prato principal o peixe. O peixe estava bom, mas era pequeno. Estavam esperando servir a nossa mesa para fechar a barraca. So tinha duas cervejas original.

Este es el lugar para ir a comer ¨la hambueguesa¨ con bacon, jamon y queso y una hambueguesa de carne contundente!!!! Ademas el lugar está en la peatonal de cumbuco, buen ambiente y comodidad!!
