This restaurant is part of the Briar's Sports Club in Concord. An interesting menu with a good selection of the usual club type fare. The three share plates are an interesting addition, we tried the grilled seafood plate. It is good to see that the kids menu has a number of selections and this helps keep the kids happy. Drinks are available from the club bar.

Cookieâs Southern Fried Goodness!-The Lowdown: Sometimes its hard to find a good burger, but every now and then, you come across an unexpected surprise like this little Southern Fried Chicken Burger from Cookieâs. On first glance you wonder how youâll tackle this burger; pieces of southern fried chicken (buttermilk batter with some tasty spices) stacked on a mound of slaw with chilli aioli cascading down the delicious crispy fried chicken. But that irrational fear is quickly gone once you take a few bites and its all gone.-Pro tip: Well paired with an ice cold scotch on the rocks!-Cost: $22

Ate here yesterday for lunch, I ordered fish, large plate of food, fish looked fishy, took one bite......... Fish batter was burnt, the fish itself was chewy and old and tartare was disgusting. Could not take another bite so I tried my husbands steak, the mushroom sauce was not mushroom sauce terrible, so I ordered another sauce creamy garlic sauce, they charged me $6, because they needed to add prawns so I thought ok whatever, took long for me to wait for sauce and hello.... A disappointment, sauce was filled with chopped up onions and watery . Tasted my sons lamb chops it was cold and hard like they cooked it early morning, left in oven and served cold . Tables & chairs were filthy, place smelt, music playing loud annoying, never going back. I know it's pub food and cheap but me and 8x others all agreed it was a disappointment, they do not know how to cook what a joke.

Okay, it was nice inside, but that was about it. Rather boring, and not a huge selection of beers. Probably best to go elsewhere.
