Rustic decor with a decent menu for a local pub; serving local wines a plus. Thursday nights features live music which was ok, but loud, as we were sitting very close to the setup area before they started. Waiter might have warned us. (:

I have been several times to for meetings and am greeted with great customer service, fantastic selection of tap beer and other tasty drinks. I have had several of the food options there and by far my favorite is the hummus plate. So yummy! I would highly recommend Carlton coast and tavern to all my friends and family! Terry (& his faithful staff!) engage right when you walk in the door! A sense of humor is required, and don't mind the silly jokes. This is a no-nonsense wine experience for the serious wine enthusiast ~ great pinots, a new release summer rose grenache, and probably the best locally grown temrpranillo in this wine town! Try it, you won't be sorry ~ and get in on the wine club, since their wines ALWAYS sell out!Terry names his most upscale pinot for his wife, 'Carol Jean', and the other pinots (Jill Marie, Patricia Ann) are also named after her female family members (including mom, how great is that?!?) Unlike Life, you can choose favorites in this 'family' of wines and suffer no consequences for doing so! :>) Come, sip, enjoy, crack a joke or two, and tell them 'Annette' sent you :>) And don't forget the truffles (sold on site) that pair with the wines. Seriously sinful!

This restaurant and brew pub is located in lovely McMinnville--the heart of Oregon wine country. I recently had dinner there with friends. I have been there on a number of occasions. The menu is outstanding. The service is professional, which is sometimes unusual for a college town. The servers are attentive but not pushy. They feature numerous homemade appetizers, entrees, etc. The menu is extensive with a large variety of choices. Our server, Jon, was very helpful in all respects, including pointing out favored dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant. There are numerous restaurants in McMinnville, many of which are excellent. However, this restaurant is outstanding because of its reasonable prices and virtually unlimited selections with an extensive wine list, beers and ciders, as well as a full bar.

We've been here many times and absolutely love this place. The owners are warm and very sweet. The food is wonderful. Absolutely love the decor and the old bar is amazing. We highly recommend this wonderful gem.
