Stumbled across this little gem on trip advisor and it did NOT disappoint. Such a beautiful, quaint and authentic environment with gorgeous local beers, great music and the most delicious ham and cheese toasty and bread and sausage. Not the place to go to if youâre looking for a full dinner or if you have a lot of dietary needs. But if youâre looking for genuine authenticity - this is the place! The owner/barman is so nice and friendly, offering opinions towards different local beers and helping with that tough âwhat to have to eatâ decision. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Villach that wants a true Austrian town feel.

This is the best bar in town. Here you can just hang up an enjoy life. Drink a cold Guinness or whatever you like and have a nice conversation with the people there. Danny the Boss and bartender is a great person. Wurde von meiner Freundin eingeladen. Ihr schmeckte die Linsensuppe ausgezeichnet. Die HähnchenspieÃe waren hervorragend, ebenso der Café, Dattelsaft und der Dessert/Kuchen/Teller. Zuvorkommende Bedienung. Sehr zu empfehlen. Speisekarte ist klein - aber fein.

The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. The Italian cook, Giancarlo, has planted his herbs in the little garden outside the kitchen, so when you sit down outside, you are surrounded by all the sage, thyme, oregano, marjoram etc. You can often see him go out of the kitchen to pluck some. In addition to Italian food, there are often themed events like Spanish Paella or American burger evenings. Friends of mine from those countries often comment that it âtastes just like at homeâ which is great! The place is a bit out of the way of the small city center, but it definitely ranks very high in my favorite places to go in Villach.

We went here because it's not so close to the touristic area. Only a few locals were there when we arrived but it got more crowded later and it was only Tuesday. We had a lovely dinner outside under the trees. Zur Post is worth a visit if you want to escape from the tourists.

Always full, but with excellent service... It's a great place for a hot or cold drink during or after skiing!They have free internet, that works very well but it is just a kiosk so they have no restrooms

Been there yesterday, the waiter unfortunately rather had a goof than talk with her clients who do not speak German, in English.The food arrived rather quickly, and the plates were very hot, which I liked a lot, since the food didn't get cold that fast.The most annoying thing was that the non-smoking area was not ventilated sufficiently, which made the air inside quite unpleasant.
