I am from Jelenia Gora but I live abroad. I love this place because the atmosphere is great and food and drinks very tasty. But every year I organise a friends gathering we have some difficulties. Last year we had a very unpleasant situation with a waitress who put all of our bills into one even if we were coming in separately and ordering drinks separately and we did not ask for one bill at all. Then the same waitress was very unpleasant to one of my friends just because she mentioned she came earlier in a happy hour and bought someDrinks cheaper and now she needs to pay normal price because some other friends paid lower prices already even if they came later than us not in the happy hour. I needed to speak to the manager so the waitress could say sorry to my friend. This year was not a lot of us because just 4. My boyfriend is English and unfortunately no one asked what language of menu to bring and the Czech beer which was recommended was actually a German beer. So in my opinion there is a huge issue with the staff attitude and knowledge which is a shame because the place itself and the food are great.

Went to sofa on the back of reviews on tripadvisor and I agree with the quality of the food and drink and value for money. However, the service was perfunctory at best throughout, and after half an hour of waiting after my meal I went up to the bar to ask for the bill. No words were spoken, a bill was presented, paid for and I left. And the waitress went back to chatting to a guy at the bar. I found somewhere else to go the next night...

Beautiful walk and beautiful little place. Very nice service but no one speaks English, food was very average -No spices at all, very greasy and deepFried - no choice of fried or boiled pierogi or kopytka. You cannot pay by card ... which is a hassle and the prices quite high for the quality of the food. Definitely worth to go and see the view !

Excellent environment with nice atmosphere. This is a paradise for the kids. Nice retro toys. Food is tasty and very good. The perfect break after 10km hiking. Service very friendly. Really nice experience.

Bistro Pierogi is my favorite place for quick lunch. We would always get pierogies (meat, spinach and saurkraut) and they were exceptionally good every time we went. I also love their tomato soup. The prices are super low, the quality of the food is amazing. You can't miss it if you're in the area.

First impression, sofisticated restaurant... but slow service... extremely slow service... dishes - lovely, but chef should practice a big more to make them delicious... and don't forget ingredients (carpaccio with parmezan flakes, was served in very sofisticated way, but... without parmezan... )Will give a try in a while... to see, if chef and service improve...

We stumbled across this little place while exploring the center of old town Jelenia Gora. Don't have a lot of experience with Polish food or with pierogi, but this place was a great experience. All they serve are these little stuffed dumplings, have about 8-9 varieties, with further toppings available. We had the "quartet" which was 1.5 kilos of pierogi (!), with fried onions and bacon over the top. These four included cheese (my wife's favorite), cabbage, mushroom, and sausage (my favorite). This sampler plus three waters was about $8. Highly recommended.

We ate very good polish food in this small restaurant that is situated on the central market Square. The restaurant is lovely decorated with wooden walls. Service is friendly and they serve some good regional beers.

Iets wat je niet verwacht als je bij een tankstation bent. We hebben hier echt lekker gegeten, 1 pizza en 1 beef burger. De bediening was aardig, hij verontschuldigde zich zelf voor zijn Engels maar dat was helemaal niet nodig en bij het inschenken van de wijn was hij nerveus maar dat kwam door zijn collegaâs. Laat je niet afschrikken door het tankstation en ga hier vooral eten!

Fine restaurant looking like older cottage. Very nice serving. Interesting meal.I was enjoyed with herring with pickled onion. Crew was so friendly and willing that I had forgive small faults. Anyway I am sure to come back being in this region. When go inside, you must be prepare for a little higher price than in surrounding restaurants. On the other hand you can see SnÄžka mountain from the terrace and or to be inside nice interior.
