Diarti

We all enjoyed our meals. Baked Ziti and Chicken Parm were excellent. Friends had pizza and Stromboli’s and they enjoyed as well. The staff was super friendly and we had some great conversation about motorcycles, Italy and our military services. Definitely recommend and we will be back next time we go through Woodward!

Has barbecue pork brisket and chicken. Can get eat in or take out. They do have tables where you can eat in. Have all you can eat ribs. They are very good. Pulled pork is good too. Only thing is you have to add your own bbq sauce. They do need a better sauce.

Mazzio's Pizza

Reviewed By FancyFree55

We stopped for pizza after driving through Woodward's main thoroughfares and finding literally nothing else to eat. Googling options didn't reveal any choices either. Mazzio's Italian looked inviting enough from the outside. The restaurant reminded me of Pizza Hut on the inside. There's a salad bar at the entrance and booths around the room. We were instructed to seat ourselves, and a server arrived shortly after. There is no coffee, and we don't drink soda products. We ordered water. The server seemed disappointed.Perusing the menu, we found thirteen pizza options with four crust choices (or design your own pizza), calzones, hoagies, pasta, and wings. The vast majority of everything includes pork, which we avoid. We made the mistake of asking the server which pizza she preferred, and she said none of them. She likes the wings. Then she hovered forever, naming all the pizza choices we could order, followed by each kind of pasta, etc. We finally opted for a 2-ingredient veggie pizza @ $12.50 and decided against a trip to the salad bar @ $4.25. We felt the price was excessive, since unlimited trips are $6.95.Fifteen minutes later our pizza arrived. The pizza was good, except for the very bland crust. I wouldn't choose Mazzio's over other Italian franchises we've patronized.
