The positives from our visit: great tasting food; great relaxed atmosphere and relatively easy parking for a lunch time. I had to have the Sirloin steak â with chips and vegetables so that I could compare it to other restaurants. The food came piping hot - to the point that I had to drink some of my orange juice to cool it a bit. Thatâs how it should be. The steak was nicely cooked â but it did not have the chargrill taste I love - but it was not badâ¦could be better. The mushrooms were delicious and the chips were nice too. I ended with sticky toffee pudding, which was surprisingly un-sickly and nice for being so. But the toffee sauce did taste of condensed milk â which I love â but I expected something more âspecialâ in taste. Overall â the taste was very exceptional; quality rustic cooking and hearty; I felt full afterwards. The Minestrone soup starter was fantastic. The main niggle was the â3-course for £6.95â offer on the sign outside; it was a touch misleading. The Main in the â3 courseâ was I think pizza; if you wanted something more â you had to add £4; which bumped the bill for the â3 courseâ from the £6.95 bait to the âin-realityâ - £10.95. Thatâs misleading and really not necessary â since they could just put on â£10.95 for a 3 course meal;â it would still sell because the taste is there. There is also no free Wi-Fi; not good â when itâs actually a chain. I want to give it a 4 ½ because itâs not perfect enough to get a 5, but the taste of the menu is too heavenly for a 4. So Iâll give it a provisional 4 â since it could do with some minor improvements. This is not a cheap place to dine.

Over the past two years Iâve eaten here three twice, both at lunch and dinner and always had a fantastic experience.The ambiance and atmosphere never fails to impress, it oozes class.Menu is always great, and the service is always attentive and warm.Fabulous food. A big thumbs up .

I went with a group of about 15 friends. Normally I would expect slow service with that number but not here. Food was served quickly and I didn't hear anyone complain. One meal was slightly delayed but only a minute or 2.My meal, a pizza, had perhaps a bit too much garlic but I can live with that.Well worth a visit.

Visited with my wife on a Friday lunch time having seen good reviews. Pizza menu had great variety and nice selection drinks. The pizzas we ordered were excellent quality and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The manager took some time to speak with us too which was a nice touch. decided at the last minute to come to the restaurant with my wife and parents, i had never been before but my parents recommended it, they were not wrong, the service was 1st class and authenic Italian, the menu choice and specials board has plenty to pick from. i was staggered how cheap it was and an addded bonus was they keep a good pint of Bira Morretti.Grazi Milliano

Visited here on Thursday with my friend and Ryan couldnât have been any nicer too us! Friendly, good banter & a good laugh. The kids straws for 2 24 year olds was a great touch Defo be back as long as Ryan works here!

we visited family In Newcastle and returned to La Famiglia, this is simply the best restaurant ever, greeted by a nice man, didnt catch his name, had a ralph lauren shirt on, so pleasant and friendly, the food is sublime, pizzas are out of this world, pastas the same, the decor is great, nice atmosphere, and prices to suit all, totally recommend

Really enjoyed our food at Ask Italian, Metro Centre, today. Gluten free food was excellent and safe. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal too. Danielle and Stefano were very helpful and attentive. Nice to actually meet an Italian working in an Italian restaurant. Looking forward to going back.
