Delicious food for more than fair prices. Traditional italien dishes, a lot of local guests come here which is always a good sign.

My husband and I visited Dolfie only yesterday. The service was absolutely perfect... The waiter was charming and swift and the owner/manager spoke amazing English and made us feel beyond welcome. The food was faultless and full of Italian flavour. We barely speak any Italian but we gave it ago and that was recognised, as we tried to speak their language there was only patience and understanding. Fabulous experience. We will visit in January and bring the children too. Thank you for a wonderful dinner. It was a serious pleasure. Molto buono!!! Semplicemente grazie per aver dedicato del vostro tempo nel recensirci. Mi auguro che quando tornerete il mio inglese sarà migliorato. Con affetto vi invio sinceri saluti :)

We were refused our welcome drink by very unpleasant woman on till despite being told at reception that we could use our vouchers later after arriving. Suffice to say, we did not eat there again and spent our money somewhere else. Sono questi gli strumenti a nostra disposizione per migliorare i nostri servizi, soddisfare a pieno le aspettative dei nostri preziosi clienti. Il nostro più grande rammarico è quando questo non accade . In merito a quanto accaduto, ci teniamo a sottolineare che la nostra collega che si occupa della cassa del Varnelli Bistrot e Restaurant, non ha fatto nulla di sbagliato, anzi, ha cercato di gestire una situazione di incomprensione, cercando di spiegarle quanto accaduto. Al check-in di tutti gli Ospiti dell'Hotel del Sole, la reception offre agli Ospiti appena arrivati un welcome drink. Al momento in cui vengono consegnati i coupon ai clienti, viene specificato che la Direzione offre agli Ospiti una bevanda fresca di benvenuto, preparata direttamente dal nostro barman, e che basterà consegnare il coupon al bar, per ricevere il nostro drink di benvenuto. Ciò che è accaduto, è che, Lei ha pranzato nel nostro ristorante, e al momento in cui è andato a pagare il conto, voleva che da quest'ultimo fossero scalate le bevande, utilizzando i coupon del drink di benvenuto. La collega ha cercato di spiegarle che non fosse possibile, ma lei ha reagito molto male al rifiuto della mia collega, addirittura gettandole i coupon sul volto, in senso di disprezzo. Siamo certi che si fosse creato un malinteso, e che voi non avevate ben capito quale fosse l'utilizzo dei coupon di benvenuto, ma comunque sarebbe stato meglio cercare di ascoltare ciò che la collega stava cercando di spiegarvi. In ogni caso, speriamo comunque che il soggiorno presso l'Hotel del Sole sia stato gradito e che ne abbiate un buon ricordo. Vi aspettiamo al più presto di nuovo a Pompei per venire a scoprire le altre bellezze del nostro territorio, Cordiali saluti, La Direzione.

After a long day of touring the ruins in Pompeii, we agreed to find a nice restaurant near our hotel. We settled into Night Butterflies based on good reviews. However, by 9:30, ear piercing Italian karaoke music started up at an audible level that prevented thinking yet alone talking. What an odd horrible experience.

We were brought here by our driver-guide because we had requested great pizza for lunch and Gika exceeded our expectations. Amazing pizza, friendly staff, reasonably priced for high quality ingredients, great atmosphere including a nice patio. Will definitely go back next time we are in the Napoli area.

If youâre on holiday around here do not miss this gem !Fabulous family run restaurant - looks nothing from outside - but the food & hospitality is second to none !When abroad you can always work on the basis of the locals eat there itâs got to be good - well they come here in their droves!Cheapest pizza Iâve eaten in 2 weeks travelling in Italy but definitely the best .I am not a lover of ice cream but you MUST have the lemon ice cream served here -I cannot wax lyrical enough about it - shAme I cannot take it home !Lovely, lovely place do give it a try . If youâre not Italian try their starters -yum!Btw - pizzas huge !

We sampled several of the legendary pizzerias in Naples, but came back to Casa Caponi twice because the pizza here is just as good, if not better. Actually, Caponi's pizza is fantastic, with a fluffy crust and delicious toppings. (As one of us said, "The only problem with this pizza is that you'll never want to eat pizza back home again.")You'll probably have to wait for a table on a Saturday night, but it's well worth it, and at least you'll be waiting next to locals and not tourists. Tip: if you don't have the patience to wait for a table, Caponi has a branch further down Corso Umberto I at No. 263 where they offer a smaller selection of their pizzas and other dishes to take out or eat cafeteria style. (We ate there too, and the food is just as good.)

I have eaten a lot of pizza in my life and my expectations were very high but they were surpassed at Trammiere!A very informal no frills kind of place with a legendary pizzaiolo/host who made us feel more than welcome. Based on looks, you would not expect much, but on taste it delivers. Antonio really is a Maradona of pizzaoli. Best of all, not expensive at all. Well worth to get out of Napoli or visit after touring Pompeii.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, interesting and creative pizzas. Our family of four left quite full after sharing a traditional pizza topped with pistachio, an cream-sauce pizza topped with gorgonzola and honey and a huge calzone. Prices were very reasonable. Definitely recommend.

After a long day climbing the Vesuvius, we found this great place to have dinner.We have eaten our best pizzas in Italy and the service was perfect : Giuseppe has been a great advisor (moreover in French) for our meals.
