Located in the eastern part of the Upper Silesian Industrial Region, Sosnowiec is one of the cities of the Katowice urban area, which is a conurbation with the overall population of 2.7 million people; as well as the greater Upper Silesian metropolitan area populated by about 5.3 million people. I was looking forward to some downtime with a pizza and a carafe of wine; Basiliana could offer me a table with a limited time: 19:55 when I arrived to 20:45 when they had a reservation - fair enough, I was happy to agree and was pacing myself accordingly. The pizza was OK, verging on quite good, and the wine was fine. However; at 20:30 they told me the reservation group had arrived and I had to leave. They were obviously friends of the staff, so I was simply chucked out early...Unless you are a) Polish and b) friendly with the staff, I suggest you avoid this place. The food isn't anywhere near good enough to compensate for the unpleasant attitude.

Very nice Italian pizza with funny Polish names from the natural oven. You get it on a big wooden plate. All the ingredients are fresh and tasty. You can find mild and spicy pizzas, there is also a wide choice for vegetarians. Beside pizza you may order gnocchi or grilled vegetables.Its style is very original, black & white pictures from 1980s decorate brick walls, nice moody and not disturbing music in the background. The personnel is very nice, you don't wait long for their offers and food serving. I tried just 1 pizza today but I have to come back to enjoy some others. It looks that other guests were doing that already because it was almost full and it is better to book the table in advance to make sure that you won't have to wait.I have to mention that the location is very attractive - just opposite of the tourist objet in Chorzów - the tower of the shaft President.

Almost perfect pizza! Pizza comes with a real furnace as in Italy, the whole place is filled with a delicious scent. Often we order a pizza to the work (free delivery pizza). The downside is only accessible by car - there is no where to park - you have to look for a place on nearby streets. Open until 22:00 and so for me it's long enough.

I discovered Domolo during my short trip to Poland in July and I loved it. I visited the restaurant three times and witnessed many satisfied guests including solo visitors, couples, groups of friends, business travellers and families with children and even dogs. Great location: close to a lake, parks and the city. Friendly atmosphere: prompt service, check-ins with the restaurant manager/chefs and pleasant conversations with the owners. Yummy food: especially black spaghetti with shrimp, cod risotto and Ninaâs pancakes. Elegant interior with great patio and designated space for children. It is a very new restaurant on the path to become a well-established place to enjoy food and spend quality time.Wow, we love your opinion and could not hope for a better one :). If you want to eat a real Italian pizza, I suggest you to visit this restaurant. I've seen in some reviews that some visitors say pizza is too thin... Please, have you ever eaten Italian pizza? Pizza base should be thin! If you are a fan of Pizza Hut with thick pizzas and mix of frozen products on them - this is not a right place for you. But if you would like to enjoy a real pizza with a crusty THIN base and sauce prepared from fresh high quality ingredients - welcome to Smak do kwadratu! Best pizza in area!
