I went to Veruno for the festival and we spent a lot of time in this bar and restaurant. We also had dinner there the first night. The pizzas are so good and tasty! Awesome service, good prices! Breakfast and coffee are to die for and Spritzs are yummy! Good croissants and paninni as well. Lovely people running it. And everyone made us feel welcomed and like visiting an ever familiar place. Home made cooking, excellent prices and a cosy little dining room make this location a great experience. The staff speaks only Italian, so adapt. It's not a luxurious restaurant, and that is exactly what we wanted. Simply good food, freshly prepared and the best calzone I've ever had

This is part of a camp site with great lakeside views. We called in for Sunday lunch on a rainy day and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Ordered Cotelleto Milanese and a carafe of house wine, followed by tiramisu and all were very good. The restaurant was quiet as it was out-of-season but would recommend it.

We stayed in Pettanesca for four nights and had dinner at Il Cortile twice. We found the staff very friendly and welcoming which helped to make for very an enjoyable experience. The food was very good, the service great and the atmosphere of the restaurant very Italian. I highly recommend the pizza, good to perfection and very tasty. Highly recommend Il Cortile for a traditional Italian experience.

We were recommended here as the best place in town for pizza and although it was very good pizza, not the best in town. I had the Inferno, really good but beware very very spicy.It's out of the main town by the car parks so good if you don't want the hilly walk to town, service good and very reasonable prices.

We had a very tasty lunch here at this place in the main square, just across from the ferry landing stage, and later an aperative. The food and service were very good indeed and the prices very reasonable given the tourist location, but maybe owing to the competition from several nearby restaurants, cafés and hotels. Nevertheless an ideal location to unwind and have a drink and/or meal.

We really enjoyed our dinner here. They had great pasta, and the wine selection was good. The red was warm, but they brought an ice bucket and once we let it open, it was great, The overall service was excellent. Also, it was walking distance from our hotel, Albergo Riviera, so we could relax and enjoy the meal without worrying about driving.

Great views and wonderful balcony for al fresco dining. Also great location to be able to escape the throngs of people that seem to find their way to the town of Orta.The food for us was very good albeit the things we chose off the menu were straight from the 80's. Prawn Cocktail! Really! but was nice and tasty and a great size.Then for mains we had a Steak with mushroom sauce and I chose the steak au poivre. Service was fine, only three tables of diners and we were in no rush.All in all a fun place for lunch.
