Met up with some friends on an overnighter heading for Dunedin. Great place to catch up. Neither me nor hubby tried the beer as we felt like a wine instead but the pizza was one of the best Iâve tasted in ages. Friends ordered the spud fries as well and a taste of those proved very yum indeed. Well worth a visit !Thanks for your great review! Were having a family lunch out and decided on Oscars due to pizza being an absolute win in checking all boxes for the family. Sat at a table that had bench seats on a very weird angle almost like they were placed at table backwards, by the end of the meal our backs were feeling the strain of an odd seating situation. Ordered 3 different large pizzas and all were delicious, bases crispy but not teeth breakers and toppings generous and 2 large chips. All very generous portions and a very cost effective way to dine out. An extensive range of non alcoholic beverages and also noted on this visit that they are now byo, definitely a point of difference that will have us back (without kids next time!). Would have been 5 stars but horrific bench seating really let it down, there were many tables with 'proper' chairs though, so would recommend sitting at them. Hi, thanks for that! Can't go wrong with pizza for a family lunch! We get what you mean about the benches but they are actually on the same legs as the chairs! Most chairs are angled that way although it's probably more noticeable without the seat pad and back rest. :)

For a real tasty delicious pizza you have to try this place. They use only the freshest of ingredients giving their pizza real flavor and none of the 'cardboard taste' you sometimes get from other places pizza's. And the prices are pretty good too. This has to be the best pizza I have had while living in Oamaru!!
