This place has the best pizza around! Very clean and friendly place. Parking is a bit difficult as there is only street parking on Main Street (there is a very small free parking lot next to the restaurant for customers, but it fills up fast as this place is so popular). Paid parking until 7 pm

Sal's Pizza

Sal's is not only my favorite pizza place, but my favorite of any place to eat in Concord. Their chicken, broccoli, Alfredo pizza is delicious! Also, the tomato, spinach, feta pizza is terrific and the chicken, bacon, ranch is yummy. Sal's has a large variety of interesting pizzas and on any given day, you can find many of them on display for you to grab a slice. Note that their slice is a quarter of a huge pizza. Most people will consider it two slices, and, in fact, they cut it that way for you. The service is always terrific. They have a core crew of people who are always very friendly and who get to know you if you're a regular customer. My partner and I tried every pizza place in Concord a few years ago and Sal's was definitely the best.

This establishment is a hit or miss. You either get good food or you get in-between, to yuk! Depends I guess on who's doing what in the kitchen.

We stopped in for lunch after a long bike ride in the area. They have a large variety of subs on the menu. All are available on white or wheat rolls, and also wraps. I ordered the eggplant Parmesan and my wife ordered a steak and cheese. The subs a good size, and a good value. They tasted great, but were not very hot. That was surprising since we were the only customers left in the restaurant, so they should have come right out. I will give them another try if we should be in the area again.

We like to order Donatello's largest pizza, the Dominator for our large family. One pizza serves all of us, often with pizza left over. The subs are great, too. This is a family owned and operated pizzeria.

This place was busy on a Saturday night! All the locals apparently dine here, with good reason. The food is fresh and tasty. The prices were average. We sampled the loaded pizza, it was good. The steak tip salad, it was your typical pizza place iceberg salad, with small, thin, over cooked pieces of beef, that had a good flavor however. The garlic bread with cheese, it was Excellent. And the clamp strip plate, with fries, it was good. Not greasy, and crisp. All in all not a bad place to stop and eat if you're passing thru town.

My husband and I went to a late dinner on Friday night. We were immediately seated around 845 and our server was very attentive and made recommendations. I had the garden eggplant ravioli stuffed with eggplant garlic and red peppers with a delicious white cream wine sauce that wasn’t too light and not too heavy, it was just right! My husband had a lemon cream sauce ziti dish which didn’t last long! I had the house Pinot Grigio which was delicious as well! Each of our meals came with a salad or soup as well. It was a great meal and we will definitely be back to indulge again!

Tilton House of Pizza

Reviewed By stevel71

I was in Tilton for an overnight stay because I was attending a concert in Gilford that night. A couple of months ago , I was browsing the internet when an article came up that listed the best pizza in all 50 states and Tilton House Of Pizza was named the best pizza in New Hampshire and since I knew I would be staying in Tilton I made it a must to eat here, so after a long 6hr drive from Canada Tilton House Of Pizza whas the first place we stopped at.First off let me say I have been up and down the eastern seaboard of the USA whether it was on family vacations to Boston, Maine, or DC, to driving to visit family on a bye yearly basis to Florida, I've eaten quite a few pizza's in the USA and I have always come away unimpressed, that was until today. Tilton House Of Pizza quite frankly for me, is the best pizza I have ever had while visiting in the USA. The crust is slightly reminiscent of Pizza Hut's pan pizza in that the bottom of the pizza has a crispy bottom , but unlike Pizza Hut, Tilton House OF Pizzas crust isn't to greasy and the dough tastes fresh and homemade. Our pizza had a generous amount of sauce and an enormous amount of toppings. It's a very hearty pizza. Now besides the pizza the staff are incredible, everyone there was super friendly. One gentlemen kept calling me My Man and he was so friendly I felt like I had a new best friend after I left. While he was working the front he was taking the time to interact with us with friendly small talk which I thought was awesome. I took one star away for the fries. Like pizza, fries are a very personal thing and I prefer fries that are fresh cut to frozen and I also prefer them to be golden and crispy which these weren't. Along with the ketchup we were offered a bottle of ranch sauce to dip our fries, I've never had ranch with my fries but I must say it was really good.To finish I wholeheartedly recommend Tilton House Of Pizza when in the area. I know when I'm in the area again I'll be making sure to stop in.

Brookside Pizza I has become our favorite take out place. They have an extensive menu to choose from. Thier submarine sandwiches are excellent, they have real good Italian dishes, and thier chicken wings are the absolute best. What is really great about Brookside is thier service. You can call up for a take out order any night (Even Friday or Saturday) and your order will be ready in 5 to 15 minutes tops. Outstanding business!!
