Cafe Pesto is one of the best restaurants on the East Side. The ingredients are fresh, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the live music at night definitely helps to set "the mood". I came with a party of 6, and we were seated pretty quickly, considering it was a Friday night and after pau hana (work).My absolute favorite food & drinks are;Shrimp Half Moon Nachos - Crispy Asian Style Chips Topped With Smoked Mozzarella, Split Jumbo Shrimp, Cilantro Sour Cream, a Mild Chili Dressing and Sweet Corn Relish5/5 âSmoked Salmon Pizzette - Norwegian Cold Smoked Salmon, Sweet Onion, Spinach FourâCheese Blend on Rosemary Gorgonzola BaseSide Note: The regular size Pizzette is too small. This little place is easy to miss across from Zippy's in the Prince Kuhio Plaza mall. But, the pizza is excellent. The gyros (where else can you get gyros) are yummy on this wonderful (did I say wonderful!!!) soft pita bread. I've had almost all the sandwiches and salads. Again, the sandwich bread is fantastic. I eat here whenever I can.

We always like to try local businesses--not chain establishments. Pizza Hawaii is small, seating for a few with a great selection and offerings. We observed them doing a great take-out business. Staff is friendly and this is not a fast food place--they take their time to prepare and cook slowly for flavor. Be prepared to wait a while---our medium took about 30 minutes...not bad in my opinion. I recommend giving them a try.....we were pleased.

Yes, it's just a basic Pizza Hut, but this one is worse than most.The late night staff working were terrible - snarky service and the dipping sauce was ice cold for our bread sticks.Avoid if you can!
