This restaurant is indeed fantastic. It is true that I wanted to introduce Pizzeria Ex on Tripadvisor, but someone was faster, so I am sentenced to just offer my humble review. This restaurant is well known for a few decades and is locally admired, literally. This is not just a fairy tale, but a reality when you realize the outcome of ratio of what you have payed and what you have received for your hard earned money. I have visited this restaurant numerous times during the last few years and I simply have accolades for this place. Honestly speaking, this is very basic and simple restaurant catering for local people. Knowing that such restaurant exists on or close to the Adriatic shore, makes it even more interesting for all those visiting Rijeka town.Pizzeria Ex offers almost everything you could imagine. In the morning hours, you will be able to enjoy wonderful brunches and after that, great pizzas, pastas, and almost all imaginable food spectrum at more than decent and affordable prices. Personally, I have three choices that I combine... The first and without any competition is hunter's pork chops. This meal, according to my taste is the number one of this restaurant. The second one one is pasta with prawns, but advertised as pasta with shrimps. Of course, the ingredient is a prawn and not a shrimp, but now when you know it, you will not be angry or disappointed. The third options are pizzas in different options and sizes and my favorite is pizza Ex with addition of more tomato juice and artichoke. In case that you really want to taste a Croatian meals on the Adriatic coast at the prices affordable to the locals, just take the bus number 2 and exit at the very last station called SrdoÄi. The restaurant is just 80 meters away from the bus station.

I like their innovative menu and their cozy interior. I was here a few times and it was always a very good meal. If you visit them, you can't do anything wrong. Why not 5 stars? The meal was great, but there was an incorrection with my order, however no discount or free drink was offered.

I must admit that I was a bit suspicious about a restaurant located in a warehouse of the huge shopping mall... it didnât look promising. But I was reassured the minute we stepped in it! It is a huge space, connected with a bowling alley and many other amusement features, but it is also a comfortable dining room with excellent food and service. As we live in the neighborhood, my wife and I went there several times in the last two months and we were very pleased every time. The food is fresh and delicious, the service is fast and efficient, and the prices are very fair. Highly recommended, even if you are not a fan of bowling...

Our first night in Opatija and what a great choice to start our dining experience. We ordered spaghetti and risotto with all the meals being perfectly cooked and delicious. Portions are good and the prices are reasonable. We dined outside and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The restaurant was packed and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. Our waiter was excellent. Yes, we waited a little while for our food but as I said, the restaurant was full so we simply enjoyed our conversation and the atmosphere. The food, when it arrived, was worth it. On our third night, we got back very late after a day trip and decided to get pizzas delivered. Our hosts ordered on our behalf from Roko and again the food was good but be aware the pizzas where HUGE!!

Go there only if you want to be kicked out from the restaurant, after a long waiting and bed service! Terrible experience! Dear kmetkinja, blazenm2016, 637matejm,We are truly sorry you did not enjoy your experience with us.I would like to clarify that lack of communication lead to this unpleasant situation. A group of people with child came to the restaurant before your arrival. As Moho was full at the moment, we suggested them to take a stroll at the pier and return a bit later. In the meantime you came and sat at down at an empty table. This is the only reason you were asked to free the table (not at all because you were fewer or being locals). I am sorry if you felt kicked out the restaurant and left at the moment. It was not our intention by all means.Thank you for understanding and hope to make it up to you soon.Moho team.

I've eaten at a few pizza places around the area, and this is the one place my daughter and I have come back to a few times; the pizza choices are fantastic and the service is quick. Best thing is to go to the actual Pizzeria door, but it's a nice cozy place to sit, relax, and grab a drink while waiting for your freshly-made thin-but-not-too-crispy pizza.

Went there for lunch which became the event of the day. We ordered pasta-fuži with shrimps and truffles and one pizza with salami. Both dishes were just amazing. I still remember the taste of crunchy delicious pizza dough For dessert we adored pancakes and specially lava cake which was perfectly made. I also have to compliment the stuff which was really super friendly and yes location is also great with nice view. For drinks and salad next to everything above we payed 250 kn. I recommend a visit!

I arrived to restaurant around 10:30 based on recommendation from a local friend they supposed to have good food but I arrived late so they only served pizza , and I ordered and it was probably the beat I had around here , very good service to .
