This place has been renamed and under new ownership. When we arrived for a light evening meal we noticed that the decor had not changed at all and the limited menu was quite similar to the previous ownership. We were not expecting anything great but when the food arrived we were pleasantly surprised that teh kitchen had improved beyond recognition. The peri-peri chicken livers were superb while the fresh salads and food baskets were equally well prepared and tasty and the prices were more than reasonable. Once the front of house improves and it loses it dingy Sports Bar image with overhead TV monitors everywhere showing current sporting activities this place has the potential to get its reputation back from the times when it was the Safari Club as a decent place to eat on the edge of Raptors View Wildlife Estate.

Run by locals who are "on the job", know the importance of a smile, great service and a chilled beer glass, this is the kind of place every community should have.Simple, but very good and tasty "pub grub" - though the reality is that it is better than that, this is the kind of place that friends meet, and friendships can even be made.Throw in a wonderful location, the odd passing donkey or emu - this is just a wonderful place to eat, drink, relax and chill! And we have been coming here for months...

We came to Hoedspruit to watch the World Cup game and were really impressed with the friendly service and great staff and owners. The prices of the pizzas are good but be careful when ordering extra toppings their price are ABSURD. I ordered a margerita pizza (R70) and added olives. There were two olive slices per slice of pizza. For 16 olive slices I paid 28 RAND. The cost of my pizza increased by 50% for less than 8 olives. Complete ripoff.Thanks for your valuable review. We have looked into our pricing and costing on pizza add-ons and happy to say your input has been most helpful for us to better the value of meals with a newly designed and priced menu.
