Located 5-10 min from the parking place at Acheron Springs, in a rural area. The coordinates on TripAdvisor are correct, although you may think you are lost... You pass some family houses along the hillside, the taverna is at the end of the road, right hand side. Beautiful view of the valley. We had a great lunch here after visiting the Acheron Springs. We had tomato sallad, souvlaki, spaghetti and garlic bread. All tasted delicious. I can recommend the greek garlic bread which is like a garlic flavoured pizza.

We are in the restaurant business 10 years with the main opjective of your own enjoyment. We focus on the taste and quality every day we choose and prepare to taste dishes from the Greek and Italian cuisine. Opening hours are from 18:00 to 00:30.

We live 5 minutes away and have eaten here a few times. The menu is Greek, pizza and pasta so has plenty to offer. Last night we went and ordered a pizza and pasta with fresh chips. The food arrived although the chips were frozen crinkle cut which if we had been informed we would not have ordered. The food was lovely but we waited 30 minutes with empty plates and an empty jug of wine whilst the young âwaiterâ played on his phone constantly. Iâm guessing he is family and has to work rather than wants to work as he clearly is not interested in waiting on tables. We could bring regular income to this taverna on a weekly basis and bring friends but after last night we will not be returning. Once the food is served thatâs it! No asking if you would like any sauce, no polite âis everything okay with your mealâ, no offer of anything else to drink, coffee, dessert menu maybe? After 30 minutes of waiting we had had enough and tried to grab someoneâs attention to ask for our bill. There were 3 staff and only 2 other tables so it was not busy. Another member of staff then returned on his moped from a delivery and set straight to work in the open kitchen chopping food and making pizza. He didnât wash his hands and neither did the young oaf playing on his phone. Everyone knows phones are dirtier than a toilet seat, they do not belong in a restaurant. Leave them in your locker and look after the customers who pay for you to have a phone. Needless to say, I was ill all night with an upset stomach and will never eat here again.Dear Customer, I would like to respond to your malicious critique, starting with the health issues that lie you say we have. Preparing the food is done only by the staff working in the kitchen and all hygiene rules are applied indefinitely. This can be seen by everyone as the kitchen is in a common view.As far as the customer service is concerned, our staff is not a fortune teller to predict your drink and food needs, you could simply tell them what you want and they will be willing to serve you.I hope that the pain in your stomach is over, but I am sure that it did not come out of eating our food because on this day we served over 120 people without any complaints from them for pain in the stomach. I will be sorry not to see you again in our restaurant but I think we will survive without your presence as we are doing here for 16 years since the restaurant was established.We wish you the best.
