Evanston (/ˈɛvənˌstən/) is a city in Cook County, Illinois, United States, 12 miles (19 km) north of downtown Chicago, bordered by Chicago to the south, Skokie to the west, and Wilmette to the north. It had a population of 74,486 as of 2010. It is one of the North Shore communities that adjoin Lake Michigan and is the home of Northwestern University. The boundaries of the city of Evanston are coterminous with those of the former Evanston Township, which was dissolved in 2014 by voters with its functions being absorbed by the city of Evanston.

Colleagues ordered Union Squared pizza from the Revival Food Hall a few days ago. They raved about the flavors and the crust endlessly.What they brought back in the order from Union Squared was small square greasy pizzas, some with more toppings than others.The flavor was okay, but the pizza actually reminded more of a national pizza competitor who features a caveman and has a tagline of "pizza, pizza". (Definitely not a comparison that I think Union Squared would be pleased by.)I gave them an average rating because I think (hope!) that the pizza would be better if I dined onsite at their Revival Food Hall location and enjoyed it straight from the oven. However, that does not mean that I am personally in a hurry to do so with so many other great dining options in the Chicago Loop.

We tried two different pizza and both were very good! They used fresh mozzarella which is so good. Italian sausage was spicy. Also meatballs were season well. The chicken parmigiana was huge! Big enough for two! And it was excellent. It was reasonably priced food. Great variety of things on the menu! But no just plain spaghetti and meatballs dish! Desserts were very good too. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Took an old friend on a weeknight. Place was packed. He ordered a salad and spicy shrimp pasta. I ordered a chicken marsala. Both were great. My chicken was perfectly cooked with a tasty sauce on a bed of rotini pasta. I wish I had brought a bottle of my own wine. I didn't know that had a modest corkage fee for those that BYO. Now a go- to spot for simple- good north Evanston Italian.

I love taking advantage of the online deal specials.You get a lot of pizza for your money! You can also get an extra 15% if you order online. My personal favorite is the 3 x $6 triple deal, which is 3 medium pizzas with one topping for $6 each. This is the only place where spinach pizza is my favorite!

We were a group of twelve. Service was very efficient, not rushed, and friendly. The wine list is excellent, and they actually can make The Last Word cocktail, which was very good and enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised to be able to order half portions of appetizers and entrées. We all enjoyed our dinner and our time there.

This restaurant is near the Northwestern campus and serves fresh and delicious food. The menu is interesting- lots of comfort foods with a modern twist. Soups, salads, pizza, sandwiches. You can sit inside or out, weather permitting. The servers were friendly and the service was very good. I had the spinach and artichoke pizza which also had fresh tomatoes, mushrooms and goat cheese too. It was delicious and I took half of it home. The coconut ice cream was the perfect ending to a good meal.

Went with office colleague for Saturday lunch. Neighborhood was quiet but the restaurant was almost full on a Saturday lunch. We had the Ribs, Briskets, Pulled Pork and Pulled Chicken. With that I tried their Beer Sampler, where you can choose 6 different beers from the list which had 15, 16 different varieties of locally brewed beers. This, you must try!Great for casual lunch or dinner with great beer choices.

A friend of mine and our kids fell in prior to a Kinky FRIEDMAN concert at Space. Cocktails were good s well as kale salad, mussels, shrimp and four cheese pizza. Drop in and you too will ENJOY!
