Supposed to be the best pizza! A big disappointment. Large pizza with big dough crust. The centre however was swimming in tinned tomatoes, so it was more like pizza soup. Base was sopping wet and soggy. Service was mediocre. We didn't know what we wanted at the beginning so the waitress disappeared and left us waiting.

They have been very accommodating and gave us a table with a view. Nice touch. Service is OK. Grilled octopus appetizer is very good. Cotoletta is OK. Grilled vegetables are OK. Basic dessert selection. Good wine by the half bottle. For the food, I give it a 3. The accomodati of, a 5. The noise level, a 2 (very busy and very loud, impossible conversation).

I've been there twice now, once at lunch time and once for dinner. Both times pizza and service were great, you can even smell and taste how fresh tomato is. I recommend going early for a weekend dinner because it gets full easily, we went shortly after it opened and service was fast, by the time we left there was a line outside waiting for a table.Thanks Silvia for your review! We had just arrived in Italy after our long trip from San Francisco, and our tour guide took us on a short walking tour around the area to show points of interest and places to eat. Too tired to explore further, and based on the recommendation of our guide, we chose Giardino and were quite pleased with the experience. It was too cool and drizzly to dine outdoors, but we sat in the room adjacent to the patio and shared 2 delicious pizzas for 4 of us. We also had the "vino della casa", 1/2 carafe of white and 1/2 carafe of red, which was rather ordinary. For me the best place in the small city of Chiasso to eat a unforgettable Pizza or some great Pasta's and to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of this Snack Bar!Sometimes you can also find some excellent proposal of Asiatic food.Another northworthy thing is the great Lounge Music selection of the owner, wich create a soft and easy ambience! If you came to Chiasso you've to visit it!!!!

Even though this restaurant is not located along the beautiful lake nor do you have a view to it, it is still worth enjoying lunch or dinner there because of its atmosphere and panorama from the terrace. The menu offers plenty of delicious pizzas and changes frequently for specials. For me most important is the kids friendly surrounding especially for lunch but you are still welcome for dinner. Inside it is also very cozy and modern. Waiting time is good and since we go there every time being in the area, we never made a bad experience.

It was recommended by our concierge and did not disappoint. Ample wine list we ordered octopus appetizer that was quite good and couldn't resist a pesto pasta dish and lasagne. All delicious. Lakeview dining with wonderful staff and a good meal. We had a lovely time.
