Arrived at this restaurant at TripAdvisor's recommendation and we weren't dissapointed.The building was declared a historic monument and is divided in 2 parts: restaurant and pub, very nice decorated.The service was very good, the waiter was attentive and at our disposal.The food was tasty, the pork ribs were really appreciated, I really liked the vegetables on the grill and the ones on the pan. If you're visiting Calarasi, you shoul pay it a visit!

Last summer we were trying to find a restaurant for a family wedding. The future bride is from Calarasi, so we tried finding a restaurant there, as most relatives are from Calarasi. What's the best way to find a restaurant for a family wedding? Trying some of them.So we had some drinks, tasted some steaks ans fish, as this is the main dish in the area, being on the Danube river. Everything we tasted was very good, and the service was accordingly.

My husband and I have been on the road, traveling by bicycle for six months now. After crossing the border yesterday we found a hotel nearby and by chance came across this cafe.My husband was craving pizza and I couldn't go past a good sandwich, which is surprisingly hard to find when traveling.Not only did I get s fantastic vegetarian sandwich that was made specifically for me, but we were given as a gift a local food to try. Yum!The owner was so lovely and helpful and the food was great. This place was a great surprise as is this city.Thanks, Marissa! I wish you very nice emotions in your journey!
