My friends and I went to MacKenzie River pizza on the west end of Billings (Grand Ave) for dinner before a show at the Billings Studio Theater. We checked their menu ahead of time and decided one of the kids' meals would best satisfy our smaller appetites. We were greatly disappointed when our server said they could not sell us a kids' meal - they were reserved for those 10 and under. 2 of us split the ravioli dinner, which worked well, but our 3rd friend ordered a sandwich. She couldn't even eat half of a half and ended up taking it home. We would have been happy to pay a little more than the advertised price for a kids' meal had we been able to order one. Most of the items on the kids' menu are not available as an adult meal. Bottom line, the food was very good and the server was pleasant, but I hope that they will reconsider and let seniors (we're all over 60) order the smaller meals in the future.

Our table ordered two pizzas, we were excited to try the hawaiian with chicken and jalapenos. The chicken was dry and tasteless, the jalapenos didn't add anything to the flavor of the pizza. Our server was kind and friendly however you could hear the workers in the "kitchen" area bickering which always puts a damper on the experience.Thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback for us. I apologize for your food not being top notch. We strive to do better than that. The food and other issues you mentioned will be addressed with our staff so that our guests can have a great experience every time they visit. Hope to see you again soon!

It's actually called something different, but it's a calzone. The taste was very good but for the price, it was on the small side. Super cheesy! The restaurant is basically a bar that serves food (fine with us). Kids are welcome though.

They are wonderful at helping you raise funds for your special causes. The salad bar is pretty good but the chicken was dry along with the wimpy dry pizza.

The reason we went to this particular chain restaurant is that I saw online that they had manicotti on the menu; the picture showed the small pasta tubes filled with ricotta and mozzarella, in marinara sauceWhat I got was an unrecognizable mess of alfredo, one big termite queen looking thing with dry crumbled chicken on the side and unmelted grated cheese inside, along with some other unappealing filler. NOTHING to resemble manicotti in anyone's book. I won't be back.

This is a nice restaurant with nice, simple decor. Service was very good. They offer pizzas in 2 sizes with some unusual combinations along with familiar combos. We were satisfied with everything. We werenât ready for a big dinner so this fit us very well.

This restaurant was a couple of blocks from the Doubletree hotel, and we picked it for convenience as well as wanting to try something on a trip that was heavy on roasted meats. We were able to be seated immediately on a weeknight, and had great service. Lots of great italian dishes to choose from, and the wine list focused on Italian wines first and foremost, which was a pleasant surprise.
