Whilst on a vacation few days for some much needed Rest & Relaxation my partner and myself stumbled upon this little gem. What a great evening we had! The food beer and wine were all exceptional. This is one of those times when you would not hesitate in recommending a great place to eat knowing that those that you had directed there had a great time too.

Great restaurant set in a quaint village we came across on the way back to pienza from saturnia. The manager and chef were very friendly, good honest people, the house wine was delicious, the tiramisu and pannacotta to die for and just 3 euros! The mushroom and ham pizza was so good we had to order another one! Definitely no tourist trap!Thank you so much for your review. We chose for our costumers a short menu in order to provide an high food's quality.

Eravamo in due. Volevamo una pizza. Ci siamo fatti contagiare dalle recensioni super positive ma di positivo câera soltanto la cordialità della cameriera. Lâarredo vecchio, di cattivo gusto, la tv impostata su Rai uno a tutto volume. I paesani che fissavano la tv invece di parlarsi. Prezzo in linea, ma la pizza, per nostro gusto, non era per niente buona. Sembrava una surgelata anche se effettivamente non lo era.

Locale familiare! Ottimo per famiglie e coppie ci si sente a casa con L accoglienza di Gianna e Marcello competenti e super simpatici! Il cibo è veramente buono e fresco!!! Se volete stare bene e mangiare bene andate al viandante super consigliatissimo!!!!!! ++++++

Serata piacevole, tranquilla, nonostante qualche incombenza. Abbiamo trovato il luogo grazie a Google Maps, ma ne è valsa la pena! Non vedo l'ora di tornarci con la bella stagione, quando l'Orto Botanico sarà aperto... Si tengono inoltre qui corsi di tiro con l'arco.Il posto pullula di tradizioni, sia badenghe che amiatine; il locale stesso è un salto indietro nel tempo; il menù, nonostante sia piuttosto limitato, è ricco di piatti della tradizione. Tra gli ingredienti figurano verdure dell'orto e altri prodotti tipici e locali (soprattutto di stagione). Pizze cotte nel forno a legna, di giusto spessore e cottura. L'unica nota di demerito: abbiamo atteso per un'ora circa (il ristorante era pieno). Consigliato vivamente il dolce fatto in casa, con il cacao e il cocco. Sì, da provare.

Recommended by our hotel we are in this restaurant twice. A typical Italian restaurant and it seemed to be rather popular among locals. They have a good choice of different pizzas, but my choice was pasta with seafood as a starter and pork the first evening and seafood antipasto as a starter and beefsteak the other. Nice and artistic desert. The portions were very tasty, but rather small and as often in Italy, you'll need to order potatoes or whatever you wish separately . Friendly service.

We had lunch at this restaurant on Tuesday mid March. We were the only tourists. All others were locals. All of us had a pasta dish. They were all just perfect and quite huge.The restaurant is located in the woods just outside Abaddia. We can higly recommend this restaurant and it is not expensive.

It is a simple restaurant but with real Italian food. If you chose pasta they will serve it " al dente" if you want a bit more cooked you should ask for it. The house wine is good and cheap. Good relation price / quality.
