Fresh off the Milford Track just about anything would have tasted good. The evening was warm and the lake views just so restful. My only beef(!) was that the the salmon was identified on the menu as "smoked" but was actually fresh. The waitress didn't seem to understand that there was a difference. (I actually like fresh better so I was still happy).

We went to this place and had a simple lunch. We ordered 3 different kind of burger and they all really nice! Fresh veggie (we love the beet root inside the burger), good tasted meat. From the big window you can see unblocked sea view. We were very happy to choose this restaurant at this quite town. BTW, they changed name to Cathedral cafe!
