It is part of the Hickory–Lenoir–Morganton Metropolitan Statistical Area. One of the largest Waldensian congregations in the United States was founded in the town in the late nineteenth century, now known as the Waldensian Presbyterian Church. The town was settled by immigrants from the Cottian Alps in the Piedmont region of Italy.

Visited here with family including 3 grandsons. Staff were friendly, patient, and professional. Very good food with plenty of variety. With 3 grandkids 8-years old and younger it is often hard to find menu items they will enjoy. Mom ordered a special dinner for 2, which gave here plenty to share with the 3 boys and offered an excellent variety of menu items so all got something they enjoyed.I can definitely recommend this restaurant if youy are out with children.

I had the 3 amigos meal with yellow rice and beans. Shrimp, chicken and steak with vegetables inside the burrito. It was juicy and very good. Service was great. They have a meat and seafood case also. They look very fresh in the case.

Out of all the Mexican Restaurants in Morganton this is by far my favorite. There are two of these in Morganton but I especially like the one on Fleming drive.

Tried the pollo Vallarta a generous medley of grilled vegetables and chicken with a flavor that is over the top. The burrito México is absolutely delicious.

Great food as always! Ordered the regular sized nachos and had leftovers for the next day. Other family member had naked burrito and also had leftovers. Fresh ingredients and fast service.

I ordered the sizzling chicken and shrimp. Excellent!! The taste, quality and quantity were all exceptional. My husband had the frozen margaritas. He said when we come back he will pay for an extra shot of tequila in them, but said he cannot remember having a better tasting margarita. Chips and salsa both good. Spanish rice is exceptional. Service prompt. Restaurant clean. Plenty of seating inside and out. Authentic Mexican music. We will be back.
