I give them credit for being open 24 hrs, so you can eat whenever. However, the nachos are not good, they are lacking cheese and meat and are a rip off for the price. If you want good mexican, there are plenty of others to choose from

Lately my wife and I have going pretty much every day to this Del Taco through their drive through for breakfast. It's very convenient because we live close by. I have been ordering their cheese and egg burrito which only costs $2.09 and I think it's well worth it for the price since it's tasty and plenty of food for me for breakfast. My wife orders three side orders of well done scrambled eggs for only 40 cents each egg. This is also a good deal; Jack in the Box charges 60 cents for each egg. By the way, my wife gives one of the eggs to our three dogs and they just love it! The employees whom we have dealt with have been very nice, always greeting us nicely. Sure, this isn't gourmet food but it's a Del Taco; not the Ritz! We plan on returning here regularly for our "to go" breakfast.

I like the food most of the time, and especially their new lighter menu. However, at least 50% of the time my order is wrong in one way or another (chicken added when I asked for no chicken, etc.). It's not horrible, just annoying.

I've been here atleast 4 times already and I plan to keep coming back. The food is so good and its more authentic then most of other mexican restaurants in the area. They make the tortillas fresh instead of warming them up from the package. My favorite dishes are the huaraches and tlacoyos. My only complaints are that they dont serve beer and the bathroom is outside. The food is also a bit pricey but its worth it. Cant wait to come again!

Full disclosure: I am not a fan of Tex-Mex food, and I despise rice and beans despite that combination's high protein content.I was treated to dinner at Chagolla's Taqueria No. 2 in San Jacinto, CA by a Mexican, and it was the second time in my life that I enjoyed eating Mexican food. Because I had no idea of what was good nor what I should order, I asked him to order for me.We had a shrimp ceviche tostada which came with slices of lime and which we drizzled with the bottled hot sauce that's on every table. It was fresh, tasty, the lime juice was just right, and the hot sauce gave it just a bit of zing. By Thai or Indian standards of capsaicin fire, the bottled sauce wasn't hot at all.The tostada was wonderfully crunchy, about six inches across, and was piled high with the shrimp ceviche. It was a bit messy to eat, but it was well worth the effort and disgrace suffered for having to abandon good table manners.Next, we had four pork "al pastor" tacos. Those too came with slices of lime, the tacos were about four inches across, and there were two of them under every serving. When you order tacos with "everything," you get a roasted, hot, green pepper as well as sautéed onions. The drinks were all flavored and sweet, and I didn't ask for water because I wanted to experience that place as my host did. The choices were: tamarind, pineapple, and orchata which is a rice water drink. However, next time, I will ask for plain water either from the tap or a bottle. For those who care how the place looks: It's a small storefront with several mismatched Burger King style sets of chairs and tables in bright colors, and it's clean and well lit. I enjoyed my meal there and would heartily recommend it to anybody who is tired of the typical rice and beans with everything Tex-Mex kind of restaurant. It's hard to disguise my enthusiasm for Chagolla's Taqueria No. 2, and I have been back several times. Because I'm not familiar with the kind of food that they serve, I plan to work my way through their menu from top to bottom.

They have a fairly large menu of Mexican dishes. Most people do take out as the dining area is relatively small. I frequent the location 3 or 4 times a month and always order the same thing-a taco and an enchilada. It is consistently good. The price for this combo is around $8 or so. Most of their combos are priced about the same. They also do specials for a little cheaper that include a small drink. It is far superior to Taco Bell and Del Taco. Think of it more as a Mexican restaurant that focuses more on take out. Service is fairly fast. I have never waited more than 10 minutes even when they are busy. There is a small salsa bar where you can use plastic cups to gather salsa and take home.

My family and I love this place. We usually order the family meal, that includes 2 whole chickens with rice, beans, tortillas and salsa. The family meal costs about $30, but its plenty of food! The food always tastes fresh and their customer service is always pleasant. I highly recommend this place.
