Sancho's

When we sat down and discussed the menu for Sancho's we agreed the menu had to have 3 things; fresh ingredients, big portions, and in a country where we believe things to be a little bit on the expensive side, fair priced meals. As far as the type of food

No friendly greeting as we were entered and were seated. No smile.Vegetarian Taco came without beans. Server was confused as to whether it should have beans (lettuce taco ?!?). She gave us beans on side which we then pasted back into the taco.Tostada Was not filling; only one tostada with beans along the undersurface. Unusual. Lots of lettuce, mozzarella cheese instead of any typical Mexican cheese. Nachos had insufficient cheese, And came out in 30 seconds which means he likely microwaved it.Forgot to give me my beer. Overall they were completely indifferent to us. Very apathetic attitude.Sitting on the deck has a nice view. For a dive place like this, it is way too expensive. Along with the poor service, would not recommend it.

This is a tiny fast-food place with a few curbside tables, but a pretty big menu for its size. But the very reasonable burrito plate I ordered was tasty and came with plantain chips and a small salad. Really enjoyed it. My husband went next door to order a great burger from another small place. Drivers were constantly pulling up to the place to pick up their orders.

Always love eating (or drinking) at places that look out over water or marinas. This place was no exception. The food was also very good. I had the rice chicken with black beans and fried plantain. Large portions and full of flavor. Well worth a stop.
